The house
It is a split-level house with 3 bedrooms downstairs, 2 of which have a fixed sink. Downstairs is a shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs is a mezzanine with bedroom with 4 beds and a 2nd shower and toilet. The spacious living room has French doors leading to the covered terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a 5-burner gas hob, a combi hot-air/microwave oven, a large fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, etc.
The beds are all single. In two rooms, the beds can easily be put together to make a double bed.

Small-scale holiday park. Three holiday homes on the outskirts of Varaignes. Each house has its own privacy. In addition, guests of the three houses have access to a park forest with a swimming pool of over 2 ha.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf, beheerder Alex heeft er voor gezorgd dat het ons aan niets ontbrak, de omgeving is schitterend, de bakker in het dorp en de abdij van Brantome zijn echte aanraders. Ook het huisje is geweldig, zeer sfeervol en volop ruimte voor ons gezin van 6. Het was alleen niet helemaal kind veilig, er zijn geen traphekjes en in de babystoel zit geen gordel dus onze jongste van 2 moest goed in de gaten gehouden worden. De wifi is uitstekend, ook met drie tieners en twee volwassenen die tegelijk er op zitten, tenzij het regent, dan valt hij af en toe uit.

Activities
The house, linked with two other houses, is located on a small holiday park with its own swimming pool. Across the park runs a small river where you can paddle or build a dam with the children. The site has a forest park garden of over 3 ha, so plenty of space to play and relax. The park is located on the outskirts of Varaignes. At 300 metres you will find the centre of the village of Varaignes with a bakery for your fresh baguette and croissant every day.
In high season, there is a local market every Tuesday evening where you can enjoy local produce. In the immediate vicinity there is a market somewhere every day, the one not to be missed is the weekly market in Piegut.
