The house
This incredibly nice house is located at the top of a hill above the pretty town of Terrasson overlooking the hills. Be surprised by the charm of the swimming pool, the lovely covered terrace and the peace and quiet of the Dordogne. The house has a large enclosed garden with palm trees: you really feel like being in the South of France! Villa Terrace is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with sliding doors to a garden full of flowers. All bedrooms are on the ground floor.
Layout
Large dining room with sliding doors to the terrace. Well-equipped modern kitchen with a breakfast table. The house has three spacious bedrooms (including one with a real walk-in wardrobe: 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 large bedroom with 2 beds of 120 cm, great if you go on holiday with several children! Villa Terrace has 2 beautiful modern bathrooms!
Outside
Around the house is a large lawn with several seating areas and possibility to play football. The 10 x 5 pool has a lowered section of 1.10. On the terrace by the pool is a pool house where you can lie/sit in the shade if desired. There is a separate driveway with ample parking for cars. There is also a seating area on the other side of the house so you can sit in the shade in the evening if needed.
Please note: Maximum 2 dogs. Very large dogs unfortunately not allowed.

Het is een vrijstaand en rustig gelegen mooi en schoon huis/bungalow met veel ruimte. Alles is gelijkvloers met een schuifpui in de woonkamer naar de grote tuin. Nette inrichting met alles erop en eraan. Rondom het huis een grote omheinde tuin(fijn voor onze boomer)met een organisch zwembad met ligbedden. Het zwembad is helaas niet verwarmd is, toch veel gebruik van gemaakt met mooi weer. Het huis ligt aan een weggetje met andere vrijstaande huizen maar je hebt genoeg privacy in de tuin. Aan de voorkant van het huis en bij het zwembad heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de heuvelachtige omgeving.
In Terrasson zijn meerdere supermarkten voor de boodschappen en het stadje zelf is ook leuk voor een bezoekje.
Plaatsen in de buurt om te bezoeken zijn bijv. Brives, Sarlat en Limoges.
Bij aankomst loop je met de vriendelijke eigenaresse een rondje door het huis met uitleg in het Frans.

Surroundings
At about 5 minutes by car there are nice restaurants along the valley of the Vezere. Also the nice Terrasson is only 3 km away, here you will find all necessary facilities such as a supermarket, bakery and other shops. Thursday morning there is a local market. A little further is the old town of Sarlat and Montignac and the famous caves of Lascaux . The large town of Brive is great for shopping and has a golf course. Antique fairs can be visited in the small villages, local produce can be bought from nearby farms. The property is also ideally situated for visiting the Dordogne or just relaxing in the sun. Should you wish to visit the spectacular new caves of Lascaux, this property is a short drive from these caves.
