The house
A roulotte (gypsy caravan) in the Dordogne just next to Sarlat la Canada. Lovely double bed and 2 sofa beds, a table, storage cupboards, a microwave, inside and in front of this roulotte private a covered kitchenette with coffee maker, kettle, fridge, hot plate, pans, plates, cutlery etc. Also the bathroom private is outside at 2m.
with washbasin, shower and dry toilet. We also have a professional 4-season tent next to the roulotte which you can also use. Ideal with friends or slightly older children.
Located under the pine trees, view over the meadow with donkeys and the valley. Hammocks, lazy outdoor chairs, peace and quiet.

This roulotte is fantastically located. Completely free from everyone, beautiful views, starry sky, hammock, private parking.Next to Sarlat la Canada, 7 minutes from the river La Dordogne. Beynac, Montignac, Domme, chateau Milande by Josephine Baker all within a 20-minute drive.
From our location you can do great walking and cycling. Our super sweet animals are high on cuddles and what's not more fun than finding your own fresh eggs.

Mooie locatie in een rustig en prachtig landschap. Als je van rust houdt en geen waarde hecht aan luxe is dit het juiste adres. Eigenaars zijn zeer vriendellijk!

Très sympathique accueil d'Annemieke et de son époux et fort jolie emplacement de la roulotte que les enfants et moi avons beaucoup apprécié. La roulotte était confortable et avait beaucoup de charme. Les alentours nous ont permis de bien nous reposer. La compagnie des animaux, les ânes, les chèvres, les poules, les chiens Floppy, Susie, Benky ont fait le bonheur des enfants et leur manquent déja.
Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette adresse aux autres, parfaitement située pour visiter Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, les gouffres de Padirac, les grottes de Lascaux et tant de magnifiques chateaux. Le Bon chemin et le Périgord, que de belles découvertes! Merci pour tout!
Restaurants, food & wine
The Quercy, Lot/Dordogne is famous for Cahors wine, Bergerac, nuts, foie gras, truffles. Honest food straight from the land. Culinary markets throughout the summer. We ourselves are at a farmers' market every Monday in summer with grilled trout and Friday evening we cook for our guests.
Activities
Besides tremendously relaxing and enjoying the beautiful nature, this gypsy caravan is centrally located between Sarlat la Canada, Domme, Beynac and the many parks and tourist attractions of the Dordogne/ Quercy, Perigord noir noir. Sarlat is a 10-minute drive away, a medieval town with supermarkets and restaurants. From here you can enjoy hiking and cycling. For children it's great here but adults also come here to relax. Everything is spacious so you don't get in each other's way. We have a large stable with donkeys, goats, a sheep and chickens.

Further remarks
We have lived in France since 2003. In the Lot, Lachapelle-Auzac we still have a cottage and 2 pipowagen, but since 2022 we have lived in the Dordogne, next to Sarlat la Canada where we rent out 4 houses and 1 pipowagen.
