The house
In the Dordogne department, right next to Sarlat la Canada, we have converted a wooden barn into 2 attached cottages. The whole is a French cosy house with nice beds, 2 bathrooms with shower, sink and dry toilet. Dishwasher, fridge freezer, ceramic hob, coffee and tea making facilities, lots of storage cupboards. In 1 room there is a double bed and a sofa bed. The other 2 single beds that can be made into a double bed and a sofa bed. A very spacious terrace for 6 people and an extra private outdoor kitchen with 4 burner gas cooker and extra fridge. BBQ available.
This house is suitable for a group of friends or two couples but also for families with several children. The cottage is close to the swimming pool, stables, large garden with trampoline and vegetable garden.

Vallee de la Dordogne, Quercy, Le Bon Chemin is a 1.2 ha piece of nature with beautiful trees, donkey pasture, garden,vegetable garden, large swimming pool, sun terraces, 3 cottages and 1 gypsy wagon. Centrally located in the beautiful Dordogne, close to the river, medieval villages, tourist attractions, vast nature.
We are situated between two walking routes so practically no traffic. Ideal for small children/dog owners.

The Quercy as it is called here or Périgord noir is known for its foie gras, nuts, truffles, mushrooms and Cahors and Bergerac wine but is developing a huge market when it comes to fairly grown vegetables, farmer's meat. We ourselves stand with our Blagour trout at culinary farmers' markets in summer.

The Dordogne department is one of the most beautiful departments in France. A rich history, rolling countryside; beautiful medieval villages?
With us you are in the countryside but at the same time 7 km from Sarlat la Canada where all supermarkets and restaurants are. Furthermore, the beautiful villages of Domme, Beynac, Groléjac and St Leon sur Vézère.
The Dordogne River is great for canoeing and swimming.
From your lodging you can walk, cycle but also lounge in our garden, swim in our swimming pool, walk with the donkeys and goats. It is a beautifully natural and special environment. Children and couples... everyone is equally relaxed here. We stand at farmers' evening markets and cook if enough enthusiasm for our guests on Friday evenings.

Further remarks
We have lived in France since 2003. At the end of 2021, we partly sold the houses at Blagour in the Lot. We had a trout farm there.
Now we live 20 km away in Sainte Nathalene (Dordogne).

Once here, on the tourist tax of 80c pp per stay, there are no other charges. pool, bbq, sun loungers etc are free. Private parking available.
