The house
The "RENARD" holiday flat is spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort.
There is a beautiful beamed ceiling, with parquet flooring upstairs and tiled floors downstairs. Downstairs is a dining area, kitchen and sitting area with sofa and satellite TV. Reception of all Dutch channels. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the comforts such as washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, 4-burner gas hob, coffee machine and kettle.
This house has 2 bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and one bedroom with bunk beds. Shower and toilet on the first floor. The house has a sunny terrace with sitting area, parasol and barbecue, from where you have a beautiful view over the spacious estate.
This Gite has another covered terrace on the side.

'Hameau du Soleil' is located on the border of the departments Dordogne and Lot and is surrounded by lovely and very varied hilly countryside with lots of forests and meadows. It is surrounded by characteristic small villages and picturesque towns, such as Sarlat, Souillac and Gourdon. Here you can enjoy a delicious glass of wine on a terrace and also discover the very varied French cuisine. The Dordogne region is also very popular for its many famous castles. The closest one is Fenelon Castle in Sainte Mondane. The region is also famous for its caves, such as the prehistoric caves of Gougnac, near Gourdon.
Markets can be found in all villages in the area, as well as summer festivals and flea markets. It is definitely recommended to visit the medieval town of Sarlat in the evening, with its cultural festivals and many street performers. Near the beautiful town of Domme is an air base, from where you can see the beautiful surroundings from the air. And how about the town of Cahors. With its old town and its Pont Valentré, this city is definitely worth a visit. Also, the Cahors region is famous for its exquisite wines, many wine cellars are open to the public. Not forgetting the pilgrimage town of Rocamadour, which attracts many visitors every year, also known for its delicious goat cheese.

The Dordogne region is known not only for its beautiful surroundings, but also for its very varied cuisine and excellent wines. The many restaurants in the area serve delicious meals at very reasonable prices.
Activities
'Hameau du Soleil' is very child-friendly. The complex, 2 ha, has a large meadow, so plenty of opportunities for children to play. For toddlers, there are swings, a sandpit and a climbing frame. There are also opportunities for sports, such as badminton, volleyball and table tennis. Centrally located is the heated swimming pool (12x6mtr), from where you have stunning views over the countryside. Around the pool is a large terrace, with sun loungers and parasols, where you can relax.
There is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. Here you can hike endlessly in unspoilt nature while enjoying magnificent views. You can go horse riding and play tennis. Or take a hired canoe down the Dordogne River and enjoy a picnic on one of the many pebble beaches along the way. There are also several golf courses and theme parks nearby. Nearby, you can rent bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings by bike.

The holiday homes Le Renard, L'Hibou and Papillon are part of our small, child-friendly holiday park 'Hameau du Soleil', where 7 homes are located. The houses are spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with all comforts. The house Le Renard has an extra covered veranda.
Hameau du Soleil' is very suitable for a stay with children.
Given the location of the houses, they are also suitable for larger groups (max. 37 people).
