The house
All our rooms are designed for comfort and with a hint of something special. The renovation has been completed and decorated to a very high standard offering our guests luxury accommodation. Set in a beautiful valley, the property has 360 degree views, with 13 acres to explore. It is a truly wonderful place to unwind and relax with lots of wildlife and outside space. We also offer a large shared swimming pool (shared by 2 gites from June to September) with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the outdoors. We also offer another Gite (Oak Barn) which sleeps 6.
Please note that we are not able to accept any pets at the property.
This property is not suitable for 'Hen', 'Stag', or 'Fishing' trips. No pets are allowed.

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie in deze mooie gite. Het huisje is goed onderhouden en heel schoon. Lara en haar man zijn heel vriendelijk en reageren snel op een what's app. De kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad en de ruime tuin.

Wat een fantastische stek! Echt heel fijn om op de Walnut Barn te zijn. Alles is aanwezig, fijne keuken, mooi afgewerkt en ingericht huis en heerlijk in de tuin, zwembad en natuur. Lara en Paul zijn geweldig gastvrij.

We had such a lovely time in La Roussille. It is such a beautiful, peaceful and charming place to stay in Perigord. Perfect and super clean accommodation, nice pool area and very child friendly! The owners are warm, welcoming and very friendly. We would love to come back very soon!

Restaurants can be found in our local towns in Excideuil (5 miles) and Thiviers (8 miles). Many others can also be found in the surrounding area. The Dordogne is renowned for its Gastronomic delights and fine wines.
Activities
A wonderful mix of rural tranquility, beautiful countryside and architecture, medieval villages and chateaux. Also plenty of activities close by. Our local town offers all the amenities you require i.e. banks, supermarkets, bakery, butchers etc. Please see our website for all things to do in our area.

If you are looking for a holiday to relax or explore this beautiful area of France, you will not be disappointed. It has so much to offer for all tastes and ages. A truly wonderful place to spend your holiday. No tents or camping allowed on site. No open outside fires or fireworks allowed. Additionally, facilities are for the sole and exclusive use of guests staying at La Roussille. We are unable to accept non-resident visitors.
