The house
Villa Paola is a beautiful holiday home in the Dordogne built in the typical Périgord style with a beautiful and large fenced private pool. Villa Paola is located in a small hamlet not far from Saint-Rabier and Montignac where the famous caves of Lascaux are located. This completely renovated holiday home is perfect for a family holiday or even for two families, as there is a separate part of the house that makes it suitable for at least 10 people! The price outside July and August is based on max 4 persons, please contact us if you are with more people!
Layout
Villa Paola has a large living room with fireplace, telephone, satellite TV (HDMI connection available), VCR, stereo, CD player. A fully equipped new (2017) kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine etc. ... In the main house there are three spacious bedrooms on the first floor of which two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with three single beds. There are two toilets and two bathrooms with a shower (one on each floor).
In the separate area (accessible from inside) there is another small living room and kitchen. Ideal if you are travelling with two families, as you can then retreat to your own space from time to time. This part also has its own terrace to enjoy the outdoors. This section has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed. So 3 people can stay here, possibly with a baby in a cot.
Outside
A beautiful private swimming pool of 9,5 x 4m with roman steps, secured and fenced. A beautiful fully fenced garden of 1000m2 with lavender and flowers and a nice terrace. A carport for 2 cars. A swing and a slide for the children. Tennis table. A charcoal BBQ is available.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van deze fantastische locatie! Het huis is erg ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is volledig omheind wat ideaal is met honden. Het terras onder de grote boom voorzien van verlichting bij de buitenbbq is super sfeervol! We werden bij aankomst hartelijk welkom geheten door Paula. Wat een lieve, behulpzame en aardige vrouw! Kortom: genieten!

Holiday home Paola is an ideal retreat for those who want to taste the typical French life and explore the beautiful Dordogne. This house offers the best of both worlds: the countryside and fresh air but also the comfort and amenities of a nearby village. A restaurant is within walking distance. More shops and a weekly market in Le Lardin (6km). 5 Supermarkets and more extensive shopping and facilities in Terrasson (12km). The same distance to Hautefort with its magnificent castle, and a little further to beautiful Montignac with nearby Lascaux caves and other places of prehistoric interest. There is a shop, pharmacy, doctor and tennis court in Saint Rabier 2 km.
Should you wish to visit the spectacular new caves at Lascaux, this cottage is a short drive from these.
