The house
Safari Lodge tent Luca is a luxury tent located at the edge of the woods and has two bedrooms, one with a double canopy bed and one with bunk beds with optional extra bed, living room with sitting area, wifi, dining area and terrace with picnic table and seating. There is a kitchen with large fridge/freezer and various kitchen utensils, coffee/tea making facilities. On the nearby covered terrace you can use gas and charcoal BBQs . Pets are allowed after consultation. No fixed check-in or check-out days.

Just outside the village of St. Jean de Côle, there is a turnoff to the country road La Garenne, where Domaine La Garenne is located at the dead end. The Domaine (landscape) lies almost in the forest on a hilly terrain with rock parties, pond, meadow and the country house, a former hunting lodge. On the meadow are two luxury safari lodge tents and a luxury Bell tent. Only 15 metres away from the meadow is the renovated sanitary block, consisting of two large showers, two toilets and two large washbasins with an extra washbasin outside. Between meadow and rockery lies the swimming pool and the general terrace with seats and loungers. The "jeu de boules" Petanque court is situated near the general terrace. The country house accommodates a petit gite and chambre d'hôtes, which can be dined on the spacious front terrace with conservatory. The village of St Jean de Côle is 900 metres away and the town of Thiviers with its supermarkets, shops and banks is 9 km away.

Mooie ruime tent, rustige plek. Zwembad is schoon. Het meer in de buurt is ook aangenaam. Voor acriviteiten kun je de omgeving in.

Super verblijf gehad met onze 2 kinderen. Heerlijk schoon zwembad, mooie tent met alle voorzieningen, schoon toilet/douche op loopafstand en een prachtige omgeving. Genoeg spellen aanwezig voor de kids en de eigenaren doen er alles aan om te zorgen voor een goed verblijf. Zeker aan te raden om er te eten.... Heerlijk!

The village of Saint Jean de Côle has three restaurants with an excellent cuisine. In the villages in the immediate vicinity St Pardoux and St Martin and in the cities Thiviers, Brantome and Perigueux you can let yourself be pampered culinarily in the various restaurants. The owners, with years of restaurant experience, will be happy to inform you about the regional delicacies and cook every day from happas, meal to extensive dinner of mainly free-range and organic products from the immediate surroundings. There is a small special beer brewery in Thiviers and St Saud. For a nice wine trip you can go to Bergerac. Beautiful routes along vineyards, wineries and Chateaux.
Activities
The forest is freely accessible and the walking and cycling path with a beautiful cycle route nearby . There is a swimming pool with sun terrace , covered general terrace with seating and BBQ facilities and a "jeu de boules " Petanque court . Nearby, near the town of Nantheuil, there is a plan d'eau ; swimming lake with beach, playground, meadow, pick-nick and catering facilities. Access is free. On the upper terrace on the conservatory of the former hunting lodge with its spacious terrace, there is " À table chez L&L ", the owners' restaurant where you can enjoy an aperitif and where they prepare everything from a simple meal to a sumptuous dinner. The beautiful village of Saint Jean de Côle is 900 metres away and has a local shop and three restaurants.
