The house
Detached, spacious and light home with view from the living room of the swimming pool and valley. The terrace wraps itself around the house and the large eaves make sure you can always choose sun or shadow. Pleasant kitchen complete with all utensils and equipment. All facilities available: washing machine, dishwasher, built in barbecue, radio, television, internet, coverable swimming pool 10x 5m, built in 2016.
Three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, carport with room for two cars.

Spacious, detached family home, privately situated in quiet village on a small hill between the vineyards.
Nearby pretty medieval villages and well situated for making day trips to bastides, castles, wine houses or larger towns.
For the young ones there is the child friendly Bridoire castle with its medieval games and also an adventurous canoeing trip on the Dordogne or the Vézère should not be missed. Horse riding is also possible in the area.
The area around the house is rich with birdlife: we hear birds singing and and we often see birds of prey from close by.

Een zalige vakantie!
Na een lange warme autorit was een plons in het zwembad welgekomen en o zo zalig.
Een mooi en goed onderhouden huis waar alles aanwezig is, tot peper en zout toe.
Vanop het terras genieten van een ver uitzicht en op de achtergrond de geluiden van de natuur. Salamanders die goeie dag komen zeggen vanuit de struiken, groene kikkers die slaapwel zeggen, reeën tussen de druivenvelden, wandelen en rijden langs zonnebloemvelden,…
Een waaier aan activiteiten in de buurt, voor jong en oud: kastelen, een kleine zoo, markten, wandelroutes, grotten,…

We waren onder de indruk bij het toekomen. Nog mooier in het echt dan op foto’s. Goed onderhouden en zalig uitzicht. Elke avond genieten van de prachtige sterrenhemel. Zeker een aanrader.

Zeer ruim huis met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt voor het dagelijkse leven. Een pluspunt dat je aankomt met opgemaakte bedden en direct aan de vakantie kan beginnen. Een leuke attentie voorzien 😊
Zeer ruim zwembad dat zeer welkom was tijdens de hittegolf, enkel airco misten we nu misschien maar normaal voldoende afkoeling tijdens de nacht. Hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier en ook de verhuurders zijn supervriendelijk en goed bereikbaar!
Restaurants, food & wine
Very close by you can follow the marked " route du vin" which brings you from one wine domain to the other, where you can taste for free and and of course directly buy wine from the producers. At the local evening market in Eymet you can eat at the provided tables with lots of choice from the various stalls. Just bring your own cutlery and glass, buy a bottle of wine on the spot and choose from the wide range of prepared dishes at very reasonable prices.
Activities
Lovely quiet for walking and cycling. Rolling landscapes with beautiful vistas. Set between two medieval bastides with cosy squares and weekly markets.
Wine chateau Monbazillac is nearby, from which you have breathtaking views of the whole Dordogne valley.
At half an hour's drive is Monpazier, officially recognised as one of France's most beautiful villages.
Dordogne is the department with the largest number of villages that carry the title "plus beaux villages de France “ .
After day trips you can swim in the newly built private swimming pool with view of the valley or enjoy the BBQ and the sunset with a wonderful starry sky.
