Set on 4 hectares (or 10 acres) of private property, surrounded by woods and fields. This elegant manor house has been lovingly restored and furnished with modern amenities and stylish furniture. It features 5 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, a living room-dining room with a wood burner, and a beautiful view. Whether you are looking for a romantic retreat (bookable from 2 guests), a family reunion, or a group vacation, La Maison Louverie is the ideal place for you.

Inside:
Country kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook and bake to your heart’s content has a cooking stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer,
double sink, and dishwasher. (Krups coffee machine for fresh grounded beans, French filter press, filter coffee machine, milk foamer, water cooker, kitchen machine, orange press, toaster)
The living room has a huge fireplace with a wood stove (firewood included!) with comfortable seating around it. There is a flat-screen smart TV with access to Netflix and other apps.
There is a wooden dining table with chairs on one side of the room, the perfect place for meals and games.
This room leads to the kitchen, hallway, Chambre Truffe (Ground floor bedroom 40m), and out onto the terrace and gardens.

Chambre Truffe – double bedroom with en suite bathroom and door leading onto the terrace.
This bedroom is where East meets West. The stone walls of this centuries-old French property house a pair of Chinese marriage chairs, a Qing-dynasty wardrobe, and a
hardwood four-poster bed (200 x 180cm). The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, heated towel rack, and a second door leading to the hallway. This bedroom is perfect if you are bringing your pet.

The main house, first floor
Chambre Figue - double bedroom with en suite bathroom
This romantic charming and spacious double bedroom is named after its view of the fig tree in the garden. As well as the beautiful double bed (160 x 180cm) and a sofa in
front of the majestic fireplace. A table behind the sofa is the perfect place to catch up with your work. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate shower, sink, toilet, bidet, and heated towel
rack. There is a comfortable couch in front of the fireplace with a small table and some reading material.

Chambre Noix – large ( 40m2) bedroom with a staircase leading to a double/twin bedroom (Blue attic).
This spacious, charming room is full of light and character. The large double four-poster bed (180 x 200cm) is decorated with soft linen. Two large windows look out over the
garden and the orchard. There is a stunning limestone fireplace in the room, with a French sofa and two chairs in front of it. There is also a round table and four chairs, a perfect place to work if needed or spread out your maps and guidebooks.
The private bathroom is reached off the landing outside the bedroom.  It has a shower, bidet, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail.
The staircase in the corner of Chambre Noix leads up to the Blue attic on the second
floor. Here there are two single beds with an antique daybed. If needed in the hot summer days, there is a mobile air conditioning unit at your disposal.

Outside:
The Ancienne Boulangerie, or old bakery, is petite and very romantic and cozy. It’s about 20m 2, half the bread oven and the other half the cozy bedroom. It has
a beautiful metal-framed double bed (160 x 190cm) and seating. This bedroom has no en-suite bathroom, you have to go outside to either the bathroom in the Atelier or share a bathroom in the main house.
The bread was baked here for centuries and sold to the locals or offered to the pilgrims. Being only a short walk to the abbey in Cadouin, on the Santiago di Compostella route,
pilgrims were put up in the house. Two small windows look out onto the orchard and a larger north-facing window on the north side will give a cool breeze in summer, and so will the ceiling fan.

The Atelier kitchen and bathroom are located between the main house and the swimming pool is the Atelier kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is perfect for keeping
your drinks cool when you’re using the pool.

The bathroom can be used by guests sleeping in the Ancienne Boulangerie. It has a shower, sink, and toilet.

The terrace is at the back of the house and is south-facing, with a large dining table and chairs. Under the awning is a lounge corner with comfy sofas and soft pillows.
In the orchard and around the house is enough fruit (raspberries, blueberries, kiwis, plums, mirabells, and walnuts plus hazelnuts) in the season: Please pick any fruit and nuts from the orchard!
The swimming pool (11 x 5 meters) with shower is fenced off with a gate.
Around the pool are sun loungers. The pool is open from the end of April till the end of October. Near the pool, there are spaces to sit in the shade. A room outside is dedicated to storing outside games like badminton, archery, etc.

Parking on terrain at the front of the house and in the garage.
NB: The garden, about 1 hectare is completely fenced in. Via gates, you can go to the field and forest belonging to the property, stroll on the 3 hectares of private land, and breathe the clean fresh air.

25 minutes from Bergerac (airport) its an easy drive to find La Maison Louverie. Sarlat is a 45 minute drive.
The house is centuries-old and used to be a hostel for pilgrims walking the route to
Santiago di Compestella. The house is well-appointed and well-equipped, with modern
bathrooms, offering you a real home from home. Kilometers to Abbey the Cadouin, on
the Santiago di Compostella route.
Located in the Dordogne, France, a truly beautiful part of France. The Dordogne is known
for its delicious cuisine and great wines. Truffles, strawberries, walnuts, fruits, and sun-sugared veggies. Our winters are cool but not cold. Our summers are warm with
