The house
This spacious farmhouse was built over 200 years ago in the Perigord tradition. On the ground floor there is a large cosy dining kitchen and a large living room, with many old features. The living room is adjacent to the swimming pool. In the basement is the master bedroom and a new bathroom. These are built into the rock and therefore remain wonderfully cool. On the sleeping floor are 3 spacious bedrooms (with five single beds, two of which can easily be changed into a double bed) and a new bathroom. The house is suitable for 7 people.
There is (NL) television. The new dining kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, espresso machine and a large fridge. There is a large dining table.
The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower and toilet. There is a washing machine.
There are duvets (7) and pillows (7).
There are 2 terraces, so you can choose between sun or shade.

Les Essarts is located 3 km from the village of Plazac on a large estate in an oasis of peace. The property has a spring, meadows, woods and an orchard. In the middle of this property at the end of a dirt road stands the old farmhouse with outbuildings. The spacious swimming pool (11 x 4.5 m) with 3-metre slide borders on one of the terraces and has a fascinating view. The pool is also used by the residents of the adjacent house (if any). The pool works on the basis of salt electrolysis (so no chlorine),

Hier geweest met een gezin met drie tieners en een heerlijke week gehad. Vriendelijke eigenaren.De locatie is echt super bijzonder, midden in de natuur en absoluut stil en toch veel te doen in de buurt. Vrijwel geen huis te zien. Het huis (in ons geval la ferme) wordt verhuurd samen met een huis dat er naast staat met wie je het zwembad deelt. Ideaal voor twee gezinnen, waarbij je wel genoeg privacy hebt! Wij hadden geluk met onze buren met wie de kinderen veel contact hadden en met wie ze zwommen/spelletjes deden/sterren keken (heel goed te zien vanuit deze plek)/in de schuur verderop gingen pingpongen etc. Een plek waar kinderen op ontdekking gaan. Nb: je zit in de natuur dus dat betekent ook dat je de natuur meekrijgt (wilde zwijnen/reeen/(vleer)muizen/slangen etc gezien). Het zwembad heeft geen omheining dus wel opletten met hele kleine kinderen.

Dank Juliet, fijn dat jullie een fijne vakantie hebben gehad. De omheining rond het zwembad is er wel, maar wordt geplaatst als er kleine kinderen zijn.

Heerlijk! Wij hebben het 2 weken prima naar ons zin gehad met onze 3 kids.
Een mooie lange onverharde weg door de bossen heen richting het huis. Vanaf het terras en zwembad een fantastisch uitzicht. In het huis is overal aan gedacht en van alles voorzien wat nodig is.
We komen graag nog een keer terug!De Meulder-Rymen from Malle,
Een supergezellig huisje, een superleuk zwembad. Aan randanimatie zoals kabelbaan, pingpongtafel, trampoline, grote hangmap en Lou :-) veel plezier gehad! Kortom wat wil je nog meer. Onze 3 jongens (4-6 en 9j.) hebben zich geen seconde verveeld!
Ook een heel mooie streek, met voldoende toeristische mogelijkheden in de buurt.
Activities
The house is in the middle of the prehistoric sites. It is situated between Lascaux and Les Eyzies and Sarlat and Perigueux. The most famous tourist sites are within 30 km of the house, including La Roque St. Christophe, La Madeleine, Pre-Histo Park, Grotte de Lascaux, Grotte de Grand Roc, Le Thot.
Many Chateaus, e.g. Chateau de Losse, Chateau de Puymartin, Chateau de Commarque.
Markets, brocante, restaurants, terraces and shops can be found in the picturesque villages such as Les Eyzies, Sarlat, Campagne, Limueil, Domme, Beynac and St. Cyprien.
Golf course at 17 km in 24260 Saint-Félix-de-Reilhac.
