The house

  • Quiet, built-up area with some traffic

Fantastic family friendly holiday home with everything you need to be comfortable and relax. Two bedrooms give you masses of space for four with a double bed and two single beds. Downstairs you have a fully equipped kitchen which is open to a good size living and dining space. Double doors give you great access to your private patioand then onto the fenced and shared garden area with trampoline. Accessed by a few steps you can get to the good sized shared pool (open June to September) with plenty of sun loungers for all!

The local town is a few minutes walk away (but you'd never know it based on how quiet it is!) and has a choice of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a supermarket just a few minutes further walk away. Everything you need in one place.

Your gîte is built in the old workshops for the Railway line that used to run through the property. They are next door to the old station hotel and cafe where we now live. Look out for some of the old iron work in the walls from it's past life! There are 3 gîtes on site in total, so why not come with your friends too!

Just on the edge of town The Sidings is well placed for the benefit of a quiet rural retreat while still being able to walk into town for dinner or drinks. The supermarket is also a few minutes further walk away. The site is on a small hill but there is loads of room to play football, swim in the large pool or you could venture for a walk down the chemin that is right next door.

Within a short drive there is a choice of two swimming lakes, with lovely sandy beaches to enjoy for a lovely day out.
