Situated just 22 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda and 31 km from Rocamadour, our wooden house is ideally placed for exploring the natural and cultural wonders of the region.
Discover the Dordogne, a paradise for nature lovers. Enjoy a variety of activities (gabarre trips, tasting local produce, visits to châteaux...). And maybe you didn't know: our house is less than 5km from the Lot! So double the pleasure of exploring!

Located in the village of PECHS DE L'ESPERANCE in the Dordogne department.
Pechs-de-l'Espérance is a French commune in the Dordogne department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It was created on 1 January 2022 as a new commune, bringing together the former communes of Cazoulès, Orliaguet and Peyrillac-et-Millac.
This village is close to the Lot department.

The accommodation is located in the Dordogne, but less than 5km from the LOT. So you can discover two departments, the Dordogne and the LOT. There are plenty of farms nearby to help you discover the Lot and Dordogne terroirs.
A number of hiking trails are available close to the accommodation.

Near the accommodation, you will find the "voie verte". The green route is used by cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders. This route allows you to enjoy the facilities in the shade of cliffs or forests, passing through villages and hamlets. I've had the opportunity to do a few walks along this route with my son. I have sometimes started hiking in the village of CARLUX, more precisely behind the tourist office located in a renovated railway station, the Gare Robert Doisneau, 650 route de la Dordogne - 24370 CARLUX.

ROUFFILLAC and CARLUX are two villages less than 6-7km (by car) from the wooden house.

If you are looking for a very pleasant walk combining nature and heritage, you should visit the 10-hectare gardens of the Manoir d'Eyrignac. It's around 15km (by car) from the house. Further remarks
With over 250 km of paths, tracks and discovery trails, there's plenty for walkers to do! On foot, on horseback or by bike, come and discover the lush green landscapes of the region.
There are many exceptional gardens, châteaux and vineyards to discover.
10km from Sarlet, discover the Zoological Reserve, which extends over 3 wooded hectares along a 1.5 km shaded trail. You'll discover more than 200 animals of 30 different species, most of them little-known and threatened with extinction.
