Welcome to holiday home la Faurie, a modern and spacious accommodation in picturesque Meyrals, located in the heart of the Dordogne. Completed in early March 2025, this holiday home offers the perfect blend of French charm and contemporary comfort. Work is currently underway to make it completely rental-ready. With a heated swimming pool (still under construction, expected to be delivered by 1 July 2025) and breathtaking views of the valley, holiday home la Faurie is the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday in France. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, making it perfect for families or friends who want to enjoy a carefree holiday together.

When you arrive at holiday home la Faurie, everything has already been arranged for you. The beds are made, and there are towels and kitchen linen ready, so all you have to do is unpack your bags and enjoy your holiday in the Dordogne.
Comfort and cosiness in a modern setting
Step into the bright and spacious entrance hall that flows into the open-plan kitchen, living room and dining room. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, from an electric hob to a dishwasher, so you can prepare your own delicious meals. The dining table is perfect for long dinners or cosy game nights with family or friends. In the cosy living room, you will find a comfortable sofa, an armchair and a smart TV with access to various streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and ViaPlay. You can easily connect your laptop via the HDMI cable. The bookcase contains a selection of English and Dutch books, as well as board games for extra entertainment. The bedrooms are attached to the living room. On the left side you will find the master bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with rain shower, toilet and sink. On the right side of the house you will find two other bedrooms, each with two single beds that can be joined together to form king-size beds on request. Between these bedrooms is the second bathroom, equipped with both a bath and a shower and a second toilet.

The holiday home is just outside the village of Meyrals in the middle of the Golden Triangle of the Dordogne. The biggest attractions of the Perigord Noir are within half an hour of the house. Bergerac airport is about 45 minutes' drive away. The village has a bakery, many galleries and a restaurant. For a larger supermarket, you only need to drive 15 minutes.

From the living room you can access the covered patio with beautiful views over the valley and the heated 4 by 8 metre pool. This pool is ideal for both hot summer days and cooler evenings, and features an electrically operated cover for added safety. The spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for sunbathing, relaxing or outdoor dining. There is even enough space for outdoor games such as football or badminton.

Holiday home la Faurie offers ample parking for 3 cars and is ideally located for exploring the enchanting Périgord Noir region. This region is known for its beautiful nature, castles and prehistoric sites. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers offer numerous recreational opportunities and provide breathtaking views.
Just a 15-minute drive away is the historic town of Sarlat-la-Canéda, a lively centre offering various activities throughout the year, from hiking trails to festivals. One of the most famous events is the Fête de la Truffe (truffle festival) in January.

The region offers numerous opportunities for sporting holidays. Right next to the holiday home is a hiking trail, and just outside Meyrals you can go horseback riding at the riding school. Bordeaux, just a 2-hour drive away, is the perfect destination for a day trip. This vibrant city offers an array of shopping opportunities, historical sights and walking tours through the city.
