La Carolie is situated in rural Dordogne countryside with a dairy farm within 300 metres. Although it is rural you can reach many famous sites within a short drive such as Château, the river Dordogne where you can hire a canoe, Medieval villages such as Sarlat and Brantome and the many vineyards and famous local food and drink producers of the Périgord region.
