The house
Detached holiday home in beautiful rural surroundings with fantastic views, located in the Perigord Vert (Dordogne). Peace, lots of space and a large private swimming pool on the grounds await you. This authentic French holiday home is comfortably and attractively furnished and is suitable for 4 to 8 people. Because of its location and layout, this holiday home offers ample opportunity for larger groups, offering peace, space and atmosphere in privacy. An ideal setting for a holiday with family, groups of friends or more couples.
Large luxury kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, etc. Next to the kitchen is a very spacious utility room with an extra sink, washing machine and toilet. First floor with comfortable sitting / dining room and beautiful view of Lusignac castle. On the same floor is a luxurious very spacious bedroom with a double bed, en suite bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Also on this floor there is a loft / quiet sitting area.
Second floor with 2 single beds and the possibility for an extra bed. A separate bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
The entire complex is located on a plot of approximately 10,000 m2 with several terraces with garden furniture and sunbeds. A comfortable terrace next to the sitting room, a large terrace by the pool and two terraces directly at the kitchen diner.
The swimming pool:
The dimensions are 5.5 x 11.5 m. The adjacent pool house with outdoor shower houses the necessary filters and is also equipped with a kitchen unit and a fridge.

The holiday home 'Les Indeaux' is a traditional French farmhouse, renovated in its original state, with extension and large private swimming pool. The idyllic location with breathtaking views and the fully enclosed private grounds of approximately 10,000 m2 make 'Les Indeaux' a wonderful place to relax.
The house is located in the Dordogne (Perigord Vert) just outside the beautiful village of Lusignac with its historic castle, Romanesque village church and typical French café / restaurant. Only 6 km away are the villages of Verteillac and Saint Séverin, ideal for small errands. Ribérac, the nearest town 10 km away, has 2 large supermarkets and a traditional French weekly market.
The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Moreover, there are various possibilities for fun day trips to, for example, Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne, with its picturesque center and many restaurants. Or a visit to Brantôme, nicknamed the "Venice of the Périgord", the Dordogne museum, the city of Bordeaux or the Atlantic coast. In addition, the area is rich in castles, Romanesque churches, famous wine cellars, etc. A visit to the famous wine regions of Bordeaux where Saint Emilion is located or the surroundings of Bergerac is an absolute must for wine lovers.

Een prachtig en karakteristiek Frans huis. In een mooi groen wijds landschap.
Een groot zwembad met ligbedden buiten,
En binnen, naast een gezellige woonkeuken ook een fijne huiskamer.
Dat t ook nog heerlijk weer was deze week maakte ons verblijf top! En het is maar een uurtje rijden ( sightseeing tour ) vanaf vliegveld Bergerac! Vanaf Rdam Airport 1.5 uur vliegen. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Les Indeaux! Wat een prachtig familie huis! Wij verbleven met 2 gezinnen en opa en oma in het huis. Het huis is ruim genoeg met voor iedereen een eigen plekje en verschillende terrassen rondom het huis en een heerlijk zwembad! Dit alles in een prachtige omgeving. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en meer, je hoeft werkelijk niks mee te nemen! Heel leuk contact met de verhuurder die met je meedenkt en allerlei tips heeft. Zeker een aanrader voor een grote groep, wij komen graag een keer terug!

Les Indeaux is een gezellig, mooi karakteristiek huis, met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ligt prachtig gelegen in het heuvellandschap van Lusignac. Samen met andere deelnemers heb ik daar Yin-Yoga Retraite gedaan.
Door Ina (de eigenaresse) en Renate (yin-yoga docente) zijn wij hartelijk welkom geheten.
De Yin-Yoga lessen waren fantastisch, zelf met mijn kleine lichamelijke beperkingen was het goed te doen. Renate hield hier rekening mee, geweldig.
Met z'n allen genieten van de zonsopgang, stilte wandelingen maken, s'avonds yoga onder de sterrenhemel, het was echt een hele ervaring.
De heerlijke verwennerijen, van ontbijt naar lunch en diner, het was voor mij een waar feestje.Ina en Renate, dank jullie wel, ik heb genoten.

In the numerous restaurants (from simple to luxurious) in the surrounding villages and cities you can enjoy both local and international cuisine and wines. Day trips to various wine regions are possible.
Activities
For nature lovers there are several beautiful hiking routes directly from your holiday home. For bird watchers there is also much to discover.
There is plenty to see and do in the nearby villages. The picturesque village of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, labelled as one of the most beautiful villages in France, is only a 15 minute drive away. A walk through the winding streets to the 12th century monolithic church (completely carved into the rock!) or a drink on the village square surrounded by shops and eateries should not be missed during your stay.
There are plenty of great 'flea markets' in the summer months almost daily throughout the region. A true paradise for lovers of trinkets or affordable antiques!
A visit to the wine region of Bordeaux is an absolute must for a fun day trip and a true paradise for wine lovers. Famous names such as Saint Emilion and Pommerol are just an hour's drive from Lusignac. Fantastic opportunities to enjoy a delicious glass of wine or to purchase wine, cognac or pineau directly from the producer.
For golfers, the "Manoir de Longeveau" estate in nearby Pillac offers a perfect 9-hole golf course. Moreover, there are 3 'all weather' tennis courts, an attractive bar and a restaurant there. An 18-hole golf course can be found in Périgueux.
You can rent canoes in Ribérac and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. The latter rental location also provides a beach, playground, snack bar and tennis courts. During a hot summer day, a day at "La Jemaye" with a large natural lake, beaches and various eateries offers delicious refreshment.
The Aubeterre-sur-Dronne based 2CV rental company 'Tour de Canard' offers authentic beautifully restored 2CVs for rent for a nostalgic day of touring this rural area. Rental prices from € 109.00 per day, picnic basket, tom tom and child seat available on request.
Further activities in the area: birding, fishing, horse riding, a climbing course through the trees, mini golf, jet skiing, quad biking, etc.

Adjacent to the main house is a second house, suitable for a maximum of 4 people. Both houses are connected. The ideal setup for, for example, two families on holiday together.

The day of arrival you are welcome as from 4 pm. The day of departure we ask you to leave the gîte in tidy condition.
