This beautiful Villa with "castle allure" is set amidst peaceful nature and a stone's throw from the well-known village of Les Eyzies. Nicknamed "World Capital of Prehistory", the village of Les Eyzies is famous for its numerous caves with prehistoric drawings.
Located in the heart of the Dordogne and near the river Vézère, this Villa is an ideal starting point to explore the Dordogne with family or friends.
Nearby you will find many castles, authentic medieval villages with local markets and beautiful nature. The village of Les Eyzies has over twenty restaurants (including even one Michelin-starred restaurant!), two bakers, a butcher and a small supermarket. The medieval town of Sarlat, one of the most beautiful towns in the Dordogne, is also just a 20-minute drive away.
The house has a spacious living room with a modern open-plan kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Furthermore, the house has a spacious cellar with table tennis table, a room with washing machine + dryer and an extra (American) fridge. At the back of the house is a large heated swimming pool of 60 m2 with several terraces. The garden has a size of no less than 8,000 m2 and is enclosed by a fence and offers a lot of privacy. In short, an ideal house for a wonderful holiday in the Dordogne!

Activities
The house is at walking distance (1.5 km) from the village and the river Vézère. There are several places on the Vézère where you can rent canoes and go fishing and swimming. The village has all amenities (bakery, butcher, supermarket) as well as the "Musée National de Préhistoire". There is a market in the village every Monday and in high season in the months of July & August there is a lively market on Friday evenings along the river where you can eat. (Marché Gourmand). There is a lot to see in the area, including old castles and charming villages and towns. Less than 20 km away is the well-known town of Sarlat, which has an extensive market on Saturdays. Every Sunday morning there is an extensive market in Saint-Cyprien, about 10 km from the house.
