The house
Welcome to our Petit Domaine Rastaillou to enjoy, relax and simply be happy!
Rastaillou consists of 6.5 hectares of natural splendour with both landscaped spots and 'go-anywhere' sections. Landscape garden, forest, meadow and tranquillity . . . , lots of soothing tranquillity.
Gîte La Bergerie is a beautifully converted sheep stable of 110 m2 and consists of a spacious living room with a lower and upper part, a large kitchen, two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and a separate toilet room with washbasin.
A large private terrace makes La Bergerie the ultimate holiday experience at Rastaillou, while enjoying all the comforts this gîte has to offer.
The kitchen is generously equipped: 4-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge including freezer, toaster, coffee maker and a washing machine. And, of course, all the necessary kitchen utensils for a family of 6.
The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower, as well as a washbasin with two sinks.
Next to the bathroom is the separate toilet with washbasin.
One bedroom has a double bed of 180 x 200 cm and the other has two single beds of 90 x 190 cm.
There is also a luxurious sofa bed available in the higher part of the living room, this sofa bed has two places of 90 x 200 cm. And this transforms La Bergerie in no time into a 6-person gîte!

Petit Domaine Rastaillou is located in the impressive Périgord-Noir, the south-east of the Dordogne. Here you will find the overwhelming valleys of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, with their prehistory, their caves, bastides, caverns and 1001 castles and ruins.

The gastronomy is fuelled by local produce such as strawberries, nuts, chestnuts, geese, ducks, not to mention the special mushroom "the cèpe". Combined with wonderful, local wines such as Monbazillac, Pécharmant, Montravel and Saussignac.

We wish you a lot of activities in the surroundings of Rastaillou, because the Périgord Noir has so much beauty to offer, but also on our petit domaine you will not be bored for a moment!
Young & old will get their money's worth by enjoying the range of activities on offer at Rastaillou: a wonderfully refreshing and enclosed swimming pool of 12 x 6 metres, a large jeu-de-boules pitch (floodlit if necessary), a football pitch of 30 x 20 metres with goals, a professional outdoor table tennis table, a sunken and secured trampoline, a dartboard, a badminton / volleyball court and a swing forest with different types of swings and even an adventurous zip line.
Moreover, for the little ones, there is a playground with slide and swings and a spacious sandpit equipped with sunshade.
From Rastaillou, you can go straight onto the hiking trails and/or do plenty of cycling. From pleasant meandering little roads to 'mean' calf bites with a gradient of over 15%.
And if you take the car, there is an incredible amount of extraordinary things within reach. Of the 172 'Les Plus Beaux Villages' alone, 32 are within a radius of a few minutes to an hour around Rastaillou!
Magnificent bastides, impressive caves and caverns, 1001 enchanting castles. Every day (in all seasons!) there is a market, a bric-a-brac or a vide grenier somewhere. And during high season there are the marchés gourmand. Enjoying local produce at long tables in the company of locals and farmers.

During the winter period, logs can also be used free of charge for the cosy wood-burning stove.
