LA CROIX DES FORGES is a delightful and charming stone house in a small village overlooking the Dordogne, in the heart of the Perigord's Golden Triangle. Recently renovated, it offers a bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly fitted bathrooms.

Outside you will enjoy the huge 7000m² garden, a private 12x6m swimming pool with electric shutter, sunbeds and parasols, 2 terrace areas with lounge and dining table. Of course, there is a bbq for outdoor cooking. There is also an enclosed parking area with space for 3 cars. Even a charging station has been thought of!

The house has recently undergone a complete renovation and combines stone walls, exposed cathedral ceilings with a contemporary and modern update. With its bright and spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly fitted bathrooms, a huge garden, two terraces and a beautiful swimming pool, it is the perfect place for two couples or for a family to enjoy a wonderful holiday.

DESCRIPTION INSIDE:

From the front you have access to the spacious and bright living room. The cosy sitting room offers 2 large sofas, an armchair and two coffee tables.
There are two more comfortable armchairs around the wood-burning stove by the beautiful stone fireplace.

The dining area has a modern table, 6 chairs and a sideboard. The adjoining country kitchen is ideally equipped for cooking with a wide range of crockery, utensils, pans, pots and all the electrical appliances you can imagine. The glass door leads to the upper terrace and garden.

From the living room, wooden stairs lead to the first floor:
* a bedroom with two single beds, two bedside tables and lamps and a wardrobe.
* the master bedroom is connected to the previously mentioned bedroom. It has a large 160 cm x 200 cm bed, two bedside tables and lamps, a built-in wardrobe and a mobile air conditioner, ideal for those hot days and nights.
* On the other side of the landing is the recently renovated bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

The third bedroom is on the ground floor and can be accessed from outside. It also offers a large double bed 160cmx200cm, bedside tables, a
chest of drawers and a wardrobe. This room stays very cool during the summer. It features a beautiful newly fitted ensuite shower room with shower, sink and toilet.

There is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board and sink, available in the basement.

A baby bed and chair available on request, at no extra cost.

OUTDOOR DESCRIPTION:

The huge mature garden of more than 7,000m² offers lawns and old trees. The garden is full of flowers and there are several fruit trees; feel free to pick your own fruit! The covered terrace overlooking the garden is furnished with a comfortable lounge set. Furthermore, there is beautiful patio with a large dining table with 8 chairs. As mentioned, there is also a large BBQ for great outdoor cooking.

The beautiful 6mx12m swimming pool overlooking the valley and the Dordogne, is perfect for relaxing afternoons. It has sunbeds, parasols and an electric cover to prevent children from falling in.

Of course, the facilities include a ping-pong table and a badminton set.

You can park up to three cars at the entrance to the accommodation. There is a 22Kw charging station for electric cars. As a guest, you have full and private access to the house.

Other things to consider
- All charges are included in the rental fee, but please note that there is a fair use policy for charging your electric car.
- We expect no smoking indoors
- Pets are welcome, but please clean up your dog's big mess yourself
- The electric cover for the pool is in a wooden cabinet. Although tempting to jump off, this cannot be stepped on
