Villa Le Bois Senis

Domaine les Forges / Le Bois Senis is a luxurious and comfortable villa park with about 90 villas in sunny Poitou-Charentes with many facilities for (young) families and seniors. And that at only 760 km and less than 8 hours' drive (from Breda).

The park is perfectly maintained and exudes luxury, tranquillity and safety. The park has a large swimming pool and a toddler pool. There is also a playground and two jeu de boules lanes and a table tennis table.

Our perfectly maintained villa number 34 has all living functions on the ground floor and is located on the most beautiful part of the park. The villa of 80 m2 has a beautiful and enclosed garden with privacy where you can enjoy the barbecue from the terrace of about 90 m2 (of which covered about 60 m2) and you see many flowering plants and shrubs. There are chairs around the table and sun loungers, all made of hardwood. There is a garden for the sun and a garden with picnic table for the necessary shade in summer. The park is car-free, so safe for playing.

The spacious living room has patio doors on two sides that open directly onto the terrace. The living room includes a sofa (bed) where two children can sleep well, a three-person sofa and chairs. On the television table is a DVD and a TV with CanalDigital (March to last week of September) which also has all Dutch channels. The other months BVN is on the TV with many other TV channels. The living room has high ceilings for extra spatial effect and the villa has tilt-and-turn windows with mosquito netting almost everywhere. The two bedrooms each have two 90 x 200 cm box-spring beds and both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The large bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and shower. The small bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. There is an ample supply of all kinds of attributes in the house. You should bring your own linen (wo duvet covers, fitted sheets). Good duvets and pillows are provided.

The open kitchen is luxurious and there is a dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.
In a special closed room is the washing machine. In the meter cupboard you will find, among other things, the ironing board, iron and hoover.

The region completely fulfils the ideal image of France: pleasant weather, picturesque villages, cosy terraces, a relaxed atmosphere, not to mention excellent and very affordable regional cuisine.
The park is quietly located, 1 km from an organic shop (for daily shopping) and about 4 km from larger shops and restaurants. There are many castles and typical rural villages with local markets and festivals in the area. The area is great for cycling and hiking.
Near Poitiers (France's oldest university town with a very beautiful centre) you can visit the Futuroscope theme park. It is about a 30-minute drive away. The wide sandy beaches of La Rochelle and the island 'Ile de Re' and the beautiful marshland 'Marais Poitevin' can be reached after about an hour's drive. There is plenty to do in the area. There is a beautiful large golf course about 1 km away where you can buy a green fee per day for a small amount. About 1 km away is a bike rental with cheap rates.

In the 'guest book' you will find in our house, we have described a number of things for you including: where the various shops, restaurants, places of interest, bike rental and medical facilities are. Also how the various appliances in the house work such as the washing machine, dishwasher, etc.

You can also rent the same kind of villa from commercial providers. For our villa, you pay less and have a perfectly maintained bungalow with nice furnishings and a beautiful garden on the most beautiful part of the park!
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our villa. For fire safety reasons, the fireplace cannot be used. Outside is a barbeque at your disposal.

It is a very safe park with pleasant residents and guests. In addition, the park manager takes good care of maintenance.
