Maison Jacques is a large Charentaise village house which has recently been renovated to a very high standard throughout.
The ground floor has a spacious modern kitchen/diner with all appliances including a dishwasher. There is a separate utility having laundry facilities and separate cloakroom. A comfortable salon with seating arranged around a coffee-table and tv having English channels. Stone stairs lead down to the atmospheric vaulted cellar dining room.
A striking staircase leads to the first floor with 2 fabulous double bedrooms. One with luxurious en-suite bathroom having roll top bath, the other an excellent shower room.
A further set of stairs lead to the charming second floor bedrooms. One having a king size bed and day bed, the other twin beds. A bath/shower room is set between them.
Outside the property is a fully enclosed mature front garden with table and chairs. To the side of the house between the barns is the beautiful private heated swimming pool (11 x 5 metres and with full width steps) having wide patios with sunloungers and poolside furniture. It is surrounded by grassy areas and various shrubs including olives, fig, lavender and jasmine. Being illuminated it makes a wonderful place to relax by day or night. The smaller barn has stairs to a summer kitchen and dining area overlooking the pool and patio area. The large barn has further table and chairs and a barbecue.

Separate bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, hand basin and wc ( having heated floor and electric towel rail) set between bedrooms 3 and 4.
Shower rooms have heated floors and towel rails.

Oil fired central heating.

Private heated pool. The pool is heated by an air source heat pump. Private heated swimming pool 11m x 5m (shallow end 0.9m to max depth of 1.7m). A pool safety fence is available to protect younger visitors conforming to NF 90-306 standard. (High quality pool towels provided).
Entertainment: Tv with UK Freesat Channels. Wi-fi in house and around pool area. Playstation 3/dvd player and selection of dvds. Kitchen/diner speakers for mobile devices.
