The house
The cottage is a converted old 'grange' (barn) and has many beautiful details, a void (spacious), brick walls, built with natural materials, equipped with all comfort (underfloor heating and wood stove, walk-in shower, nice spacious bedrooms and a fine living-dining kitchen.
It is part of a petite hameau (small hamlet) with a converted tiny house (also for rent) and a house to be converted. The house has its privacy, garden and views. It is fully furnished. There is outdoor furniture to enjoy the nice weather and nature. Boussac at a 15-minute drive is the nearest village with all amenities and some restaurants and a large Carrefour.
If you like peace, space, nature and walking and cycling then the Petite Hameau Savaud is your place.
Dog owners are welcome €50 euro extra (because of cleaning) provided you bring a crate to keep the dog inside acceptably.The property is NOT fenced off.
In the garden is a natural water. Ideal for paddling. Watch out for toddlers.

Savaud is in the old 'heartland' of France. Ancient roads, fields, wooded, meadows and streams. Brown Limousin cows look at you shyly, deer at dusk. The occasional fox or badger. Furthermore, streams, rivers and very, very large stone Menhirs (Oblix was here :-)).
Savaud is situated in an attractive walking and cycling area. See the photos. Cottage is part of a tiny hamlet. On the same large property is also a converted shed for 1-2 persons for rent. Houses are out of each other's sight regarding outdoor living.
For peace and nature lovers, bird watchers, flower pickers, romantic souls or mountain bikers. All will find their place here.
