We are situated in the small village of Beaumont in the commune of Saint Sebastien in the North of La Creuse (23)
A lovely quiet setting, convenient for the A20 motorway junctions 20 and 21, both 9 kms away, just a nice leisurely drive of approximately 8 hours, from the Netherlands/Belgium borders, you could be with us for 16hrs.
Saint Sebastien is 1 km away and has a grocery store, boulangerie, cafe/bar and station, and our nearest larger towns are Eguzon (10kms) and La Souterraine (14kms) which has the larger supermarkets and local markets

Very enjoyable stay in a welcoming house..
A dish washer would be apreciated (and would reduce the water consumption).

There are local restaurants nearby but it is necessary to drive
We offer evening meals, reserved in advance, and can provide fresh bread and croissants in the morning pre-ordered the night before
Activities
Day courses can be organized locally for painting, porcelain painting and others if required
We are close to the Valley of the Painters where many Impressionists came to paint our beautiful area. We also run our own painting courses either side of the summer period.
The Lac Chambon at Eguzon is nearby with watersports, beach, canoeing, restaurants
We have a Riding Centre at St Sebastien for horseriding
There are many lovely lakes where you can go fishing on day passes, or we have our own small lake 10 minutes from Chez Beaumont
We are also near the Jacques Compostelle route, lots of lovely walks along the country lanes, villages and towns
Beautiful small villages to visit, Gargilesse, Crozant, Fresselines, Eguzon, St Benoit du Sault
Limoges, Chateauroux are our nearest cities, both worth a visit
