The house
This holiday home was formerly a stable and has been converted into a quiet holiday home for 2 people. There is an orchard which may be used as a garden. And in the adjacent plot of land, sheep graze.
Facilities such as bathroom, kitchen and bedroom have been carefully created by us in this unique space. Where the cows used to be, a lovely Gite/studio has now been created.
This space is for 2 people, but we can place a cot if desired.

La petite Maison can be found in the small village of Moutier d'Ahun. Just outside the village centre. Moutier d'Ahun is located in a valley. The village has an old Roman bridge and an old church whose interior is carved with wood. Moutier d'Ahun has been voted one of the ten most beautiful small villages in France. The region is green and has a pleasant climate.

Restaurants, food & wine
For the French, lunch is very important, which is why many restaurants are open for lunch, but sometimes choose not to serve dinner. Several restaurants can be found in nearby villages. During lunch on weekdays, "Plat du Jour" are served here. Then you can eat a 2-3 course menu for a small amount. And that can often surprise you. Just under 20 minutes away are Gueret and Aubusson. Two larger towns with restaurants and bars.
Activities
During the summer period, the region hosts annual markets and flea markets, mostly on weekends, with local produce markets in several villages every week. We can definitely recommend a visit to Felletin on Friday mornings. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area. But visiting an old city like Aubusson, Limoges or Montlucon is also more than worthwhile. Drop into a restaurant for lunch and ask for the Plat du Jour. For between €15 and €20, a delicious 2 or 3-course menu is served. Near Gueret, you can find a corn maze and a real wolf forest. But if you come for peace and quiet, then the Creuse is also the place to be.
