The house
Mille Joies is a converted old farmhouse on over 2 ha of land. There are 4 attached flats. Your gîte La Tourterelle is spacious, 60m². In front of the door is a sunny terrace. From the cottage there is beautiful view over the countryside.
The sitting area and the dining area in the large living room are cosy and comfortable, there is internet, a TV/DVD player and an audio set. The kitchen of La Tourterelle is optimally equipped for 4 people.
The bathroom has a washbasin and a shower. The toilet is a separate room.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds.
There is heating in all rooms.

Mille Joies is situated on a dead-end road in the rolling landscape of the Corrèze/Limousin, surrounded by meadows and forests, streams and lakes. The wonderful climate in the Limousin, the green heart of France, has warm summers and cold winters. In the summer, the temperature drops to a pleasant level at night so that there is a lot of dew which keeps nature green.
At 7 km distance lies Lubersac, a large village with several supermarkets, the post office, terraces and eateries and a medical centre. Nearby are numerous small historic towns and picturesque villages. Large cities such as Brive and Limoges are half an hour's drive away. The area is ideal for walking and cycling.

Restaurants, food & wine
During the summer season, you have the opportunity to enjoy a meal with us several times a week. The menu and prices are posted on our information board well in advance. Usually we eat outside, but when the weather is less clement we eat under the roof. Because we have no lack of space we can eat 'safely', i.e. each family sits at its own table. There is enough space between the tables. Once a week you can join us for a BBQ. Here, too, it is possible to enjoy the buffet and the barbecue at an appropriate distance. For the children, there is a surprise as a conclusion of the meal.
Activities
*At Mille Joies
You can use the swimming pool which is equipped with a safety fence. At the pool you will find sun loungers and deckchairs.
In our 'pig barn' there is a library with books and magazines. There are toys and games for young and old. It always stays cool in the 'pig barn', even when temperatures are high outside.
There is a table tennis table, a petanque court, a lawn for playing football or badminton. For children there is a play area with swings, a sandpit and a playhouse. From the terrace in front of the cottage you can overlook the children's playground.
The community room, where the information corner is, can be used for various activities. You can have a drink or eat an ice cream.

*No extra costs are charged. So final cleaning (provided the gîte is left tidy), bed linen, kitchen linen and towels are free.

*Because we have several gîtes, Mille Joies is a great place for groups or the whole family. We can arrange breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

A pet is welcome after consultation. We ask a €15 cleaning fee.
Outside the high season, 'La Tourterelle' can also be booked for two or more nights, with or without breakfast.

Hele leuke vakantie gehad bij Tea en Ronald.Zeer aangename mensen en behulpzaam op alle gebieden.Zeer ruime en nette gites en alles aanwezig.Men hoeft praktisch niets van thuis mee te nemen voor in de keuken.Heel mooi domein en een geweldig verwarmd zwembad.4 gites waarvan allen geboekt en toeval was allemaal met kinderen.Deze hebben hun super geamuseerd aan het zwembad.2 maal te week kun je indien gewenst eten met de andere gasten en Tea en Ronald.Zeker te doen want is super lekker en meeeeer als genoeg.Men zal niet naar huis gaan mer honger.Er zijn ook drank en ijs beschikbaar tegen zeer democratische prijzen.In de nabije buurt veel mooie plekken te bewonderen en nog veel meer.Zeker een aanrader voor wie van de rust en mooie natuur geniet.Nogmaals dank aan Tea en Ronald voor de fijne tijd samen.
