The house
On a hill of the Dordogne valley where the river winds through the impressive landscape and near the medieval town of Argentat is Domaine Le Teilhet. Located on a sunny hill, the estate has a nice mix of sea, land and Mediterranean climate. Winters are mild and summers are hot but as there is usually a lovely breeze, this provides a pleasant coolness in summer.
At the Domaine, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views in peace. The Domaine, rebuilt in 1814 on the ruins of an old wine castle, offers three Gîtes in addition to a main house. It is a perfect base to discover all that the Correze region has to offer.
Our Gîte is suitable for 2-4 people and is equipped with every comfort. The gîte is ground floor and features a spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen. There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. At the front is a nice terrace overlooking the swimming pool.

The Corrèze with its beautiful Dordogne valley has a lot to offer, the lovely picturesque villages like Collognes-la-Rouge and Rocamadour. Also the beautiful nature with the impressive waterfalls of Gimel are worth visiting. In the immediate vicinity, you can go for lovely walks and visit the cosy markets in the region.

You can also explore the surroundings actively on a bike or go mountain biking, cycling and rock climbing at the Fia Ferrata. Lovers of fly fishing can also try their luck at the river.
There are also 4 beautiful golf courses in the area where you can go for a round of 9 or 18 holes.
