Blue granite house in the small village of La Roche Canillac, a listed site. Totally independent, rated 2 stars by the Correze tourist office, on enclosed land (500m2), it is close to the Dordogne gorges (Argentat 18kms). On the ground floor, fitted kitchen separated from a bright living room with large windows, 2 comfortable bedrooms of 12m2, 1 bathroom and 1 separate WC. Upstairs, a large bedroom of approx. 25m2 and a shower room with WC. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Altitude 500m.

The gite du Lavoir is located in the small listed village of La Roche Canillac, 25 km from TULLE and 20 km from Argentat s/Dordogne. The village comprises an upper and lower part linked by footpaths, many of which are shaded.
Just 2km away, you can walk either around small lakes or along the Doustre, a tributary of the Dordogne. The village is surrounded by a number of meadows and beautiful forests, which provide pure, invigorating air and peace and quiet.
In autumn, the colours are magnificent, and it's not unusual to come across small game on forest walks.

Heureux séjour dans ce gite atypique par sa configuration et très agréable . la Roche Canillac est un village très joli et reposant, il y fait calme et la petite épicerie est bien appréciée ; un plus pour le côté pratique. Notre Toutou à bien profité de la pelouse bien fraîche quand il fait chaud et la petite cour devant est très agréable pour se restaurer avec tout ce qu'il faut pour s'abriter du soleil très généreux. Une boulangerie à quelques minutes en voiture nous a permis d'avoir du bon pain . Bref ce gîte dans ce petit village est un petit paradis au milieu de la forêt pour celui qui sait profiter de l'essentiel.
