The house
On our grounds of a small hectare with gardens and an orchard are the Villa and two gites and the living quarters of the owners.
The villa is in use all year round as a B&B, but in the months May to October it can also be rented completely for a group of 8-9 persons.
There are several terraces, a large enclosed garden and an orchard with a play corner for children, a table tennis table, badminton and the swimming pool with sun terrace.
There are sunbeds, garden chairs, a picnic table and hammocks at your disposal.
The Villa has its own large private garden, in the orchard you will meet the guests from the two gites.
The Villa has on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a living room with sitting area, large dining table, TV, DVD, stereo with CD, fireplace and access to the terrace.
Furthermore, a double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub ensuite and separate toilet.
On the first floor you will find the Sunroom with a double bed, a sofa and a balcony with free view.
The second room with two single beds. In this room an extra bed can be placed if necessary.
The Chartreuse room with two single beds and washbasin.
A bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
All our beds are 2 metres long, we have cots available.
In the basement there is a washing machine.
Outside there are several terraces and a large dining table.

Our domain is located as the last house of the small village La Grange Vieille.
All gardens and orchard are south facing with an unobstructed view of the hills.
Next to our property is a forest where we have set out some walks for you, around our property further meadows with some Limousin cows.
The surroundings are rural, green and hilly. Many lakes to fish or swim, the beautiful river Vézère and forests everywhere you look.
Medieval towns like Ségur-le-Chateau, Collanges-la-Rouge or Rocamadour or for shopping Brive, Limoges or Périgueux.
A very pleasant and undiscovered part of France. We have all the tourist info available to help you explore this region.

Wat een super locatie en wat een gast vrije eigenaars het is echt een hele fijne omgeving om lekker te ontstressen

Heel leuke tijd gehad in de villa, samen met de familie. Prachtig weer ook. Er is ruim plaats voor 9 pers. Charmant ingerichte villa ook het interieur past in de stijl van het huisje. Het uitzicht vanop het balkon of vanop het terras aan het zwembad is adembenemend.
Er is meer dan voldoende te doen in de streek in een straal van 20km voor een gezin met kids. (zwemmeer, kajak, velorail, vissen, wandelen,..)
We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en gastvrouw!

Inmiddels mijn 3e verblijf op dit heerlijk plekje. Geweldige gastheer en gastvrouw, huisjes voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, ruume tuun, heerlijke boomgaard en zwembad met uitzicht op het dal. Supermarches en restaurants voldoende aanwezig binnen enkele kilometers. Vanaf mijn allereerste bezoek voel ik me hier thuis, niet op z'n minst door de relaxte, gadtvrije houding van Paul en Carin. Waarschijnlijk was dit dus ook nog niet ons laatste verblijf hier.
Restaurants, food & wine
This area, on the border of the Dordogne and Correze, is known for its good cuisine.
In Uzerche and Pompadour there are several good and cosy restaurants; Local dishes: delicious salads, goose liver pie, confit d'oie, stuffed mushrooms, cherry clafoutis etc.
And not to forget the delicious steaks of the famous Limousin cattle!
In Pompadour, there are some good restaurants like the English-run "Seven", but with a French chef!
Or in Troche at 2 km a newly opened restaurant "La table de Troche" which appears to be an asset!
Activities
What shall we do today ? You can go walking in the forest next to our house, cycling, canoeing on the Vézère, fishing, swimming in a lake or the river, horse riding, ballooning from Pompadour or just lazing around in the orchard.
Or to a tree-climbing park, which all children enjoy, or karting in Lubersac.
In the area, you can visit caves, a very nice child-friendly zoo near Limoges, castles and gardens, towns and cities, etc.
A must is a visit to the food markets in the months July and August. A market with local products, barbecues on the spot and sitting at long tables to eat the purchased goods. Usually with live music and from Monday to Friday.

From the apple blossom until the summer begins, we offer a spring arrangement
In the green rolling Corrèze, Limousin near Arnac-Pompadour. Rural location on the outskirts of a village.
We propose a package of 5 nights a double room with breakfast. Including 3 evenings dinner.
The price for this arrangement is 419 Euro based on two persons.
We have plenty of information so you will not be bored, you can visit medieval towns, fishing or swimming in the river or lake, walking and cycling, shopping in Limoges, Brive or Perigueux but above all enjoy your rest.
If you would like to stay longer than 5 nights with us, of course that is also possible, or if you prefer a cottage instead of a room, also no problem (for example for this 5 nights arrangement but in a cottage a surcharge of 50 euros).
