The house
Welcome to Domaine le Teilhet an old farmhouse dating from 1870. Our converted barn contains 3 Gîtes, some of which are interconnected. Ideal for a stay with a group, family or friends. Each Gîte has its own facilities and the workshop can be used as a common room. We make sure the beds are made and that there are enough towels and tea towels.
If desired, we can provide a practical breakfast for € 8.50 per person.

On a hill of the Dordogne valley where the river winds through the impressive landscape and near the medieval town of Argentat is Domaine Le Teilhet. Located on a sunny hill, the estate has a nice mix of sea, land and Mediterranean climate. Winters are mild and summers are hot, but as there is usually a lovely breeze, this provides a pleasant coolness in summer.
At the Domaine, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views in peace. The Domaine, which was rebuilt in 1814 on the ruins of an old wine castle, offers three Gîtes in addition to a main house. It is a perfect base to discover all that the Correze region has to offer.

Activities
Corrèze with its beautiful Dordogne valley has much to offer, the pretty picturesque villages such as Collognes-la-Rouge and Rocamadour. The beautiful countryside with the impressive waterfalls of Gimel are also worth a visit. In the immediate vicinity, you can take lovely walks and visit the region's cosy markets.
If you are looking to catch your breath and relax by the pool and read a good book, you have come to the right place.
You can also actively explore the area by bike or enjoy mountain biking, cycling and rock climbing at the Fia Ferrata. There are also numerous activities on the river to undertake, in Corrèze it is all possible. There are plenty of opportunities to hire a canoe or SUP board in the immediate vicinity. Fly-fishing enthusiasts can also try their luck at the river.
There are also 4 beautiful golf courses in the area where you can enjoy a round of 9 or 18 holes.
