The house
The Pigeonnier has 3 bedrooms, great for a slightly larger family or extended family, and comes complete with its own pigeonnier tower.
Two bedrooms downstairs (a master bedroom and a twin bedroom) are comfortably furnished and have exposed stone walls and interesting period features. Cots can be added on request as can hich chairs, bed guards, booster seats and child monitors.
The family bathroom on this level is the best place to bath the children whilst an ensuite wet room is great for the adults or for those with limited mobility. The third bedroom, up within the pigeonnier, has two single beds and would be an ideal ‘den' bedroom for older children.
The main living accommodation is simple, yet clean, comfortable and functional. The kitchen is newly fitted with a washing machine, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker and the dining table seats 8. The sitting area is comfortable and has satellite television. French doors lead out to your private patio and BBQ area.
The pigeonnier has has been designed to allow wheelchair access downstairs making it suitable for disabled/elderly guests. A large wheeled shower chair is available, additional disabled equipment can be provided.
Bed linen and all house towels are provided.

The rural location with several randonnee tracks on the doorstep is ideal for walks and VTT. Take a stroll through the walnut orchard down to the lake or borrow our mountain bikes (small, medium and large) + baby seat and children’s bicycles / tricycle to explore this wonderful location.
From the courtyard a child safety gates leads to the heated swimming pool and seperate childrens paddling pool with panoramic views over the Charente / Dordogne border.

The child friendly and floriferous enclosed courtyard has a huge sandpit, swings, chute and climbing frame. For the sporting we have badminton, table tennis and petanque, alternatively pour yourself a glass of wine and relax in the hammock or loungers in the shade of mature trees.

Your hosts Catherine and Ian live at Lymerac with their children and aim to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
