The house
The gite is newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The spacious ground floor has an open-plan kitchen with all mod cons. A dining area with a table that seats up to four people. It has a lounge area with a sofa bed and a smart TV. Open-plan stairs lead to the first-floor bedroom with a double bed and a large walk-in shower room. The rear patio has a Jacuzzi which is available between May & August

Newly renovated Gite In the heart of beautiful Saint Angeau village. Walking distance to a Restaurant, Tabac, Supermarkets, and Pharmacist. Saint Angeau also has a weekly market offering locally sourced produce. Centrally positioned, with the historic city of Angouleme, with its lively restaurants and bars, just 25 minutes away by car. The beautiful Chateau's of Rochefoucauld and Verteuil-sur-Charente, The medieval town of Nanteuil-en-Vallée, and Mansle are also just a short drive away. Saint Angeau is ideal for both a more active holiday or just to relax and unwind. Situated ideally for walkers, hikers, and cyclists, Saint Angeau has many local hiking trails and cycle routes. During the summer months, there are lots of concerts and festivals and various events to suit all. For water sports, Mansle offers canoeing, Kayaking, and paddleboarding on the Charente River. The beautiful PLAGE DU PLAN D'EAU is a 20-minute drive away and is set in stunning park surroundings and offers a sandy beach, swimming, various water sports, an inflatable assort course, great walks, cycle paths, and various sports activities. There is a restaurant/bar and many picnic areas.

Een prachtige Gite in een heel rustig dorpje. Een prima uitvalsbasis voor alle mooie historisch bezienswaardigheden.
De Gite is voorzien van een prima badkamer en toilet. Erg mooi gerenoveerd.De gastvrouw en heer zijn aller vriendelijkst en spreken uitstekend Engels.

Saint Angeau is well located within the Charente region having the famous historic medieval city of Angoulême, with its many bars and restaurants and vibrant nightlife, just 25 minutes away by car. The medieval town of La Rochefoucauld with its narrow winding streets where you can relax and have a drink or eat at one of the many bars and restaurants, some overlooked by the beautiful Chateau, all just a 15-minute drive away. You also have various restaurants in Mansle, which is a 10-minute drive away. The beautiful Chateau town of Verteuil-sur-Charente, The medieval commune of Nanteuil-en-Vallée, and Ruffec, all have many bars and restaurants to choose from, also just a short drive away. La Fourchette is a restaurant located in the heart of Saint Angeau village, which is a 2-minute walk away.
