The house
Spacious and light attached gite with large double bed, built in wardrobes and a brand new shower room in the en suite bathroom.
The main living area is an open plan lounge with a newly fitted ikea kitchen and a large vaulted ceiling. Three double sofa`s allow plenty of seating to relax and unwind or even watch TV and there is a small dining table with four chairs.
There are large windows and patio doors giving an extra sense of light and space.
The patio doors open out to a private tiled area overlooking the large gardens.

Surrounded by rural countryside on all sides, we are located on a small farm of 4.5 hectares and we keep alpacas, sheep, donkeys and chickens.
There is a quiet road outside our entrance.
We are close to the borders of the Haute-Vienne and Dordogne departments.
Limoges airport is 40 minutes away
Bordeaux airport is 2 hours away.

We are not isolated as we are only 3km from the village of Massignac which has a boulangerie, bistro, hotel, tabac, pharmacy and a tourist information office as well as a weekly food market.
The larger chateau towns of Rochechourt and La Rochefoucauld are both a 20 minute drive away and have supermarkets, bars & restaurants as well as many cafe`s and shops.
Activities
Plenty to see and do with complimentary mountain bikes for your stay with plenty of routes to explore, many leading to the lakes of the Charente, the closest being just 2km away.
The lakes have fishing and plenty of water sports including canoeing and paddle boarding amongst others, there is even a sandy beach.
Most of the lakes have hiking trails around them also and many offer picnic tables, or you may prefer to eat lunch in one of the bars or cafe`s nearby.
Close by (3km) is the Massignac adventure park which offers tree climbing, Airbag jumping and bungee jumping as well as water zip lining - great fun!
Further afield, but all within a 15-20 minute drive, there are carp fishing lakes, the Preze 18 hole international golf course and at La Rochefoucauld there is a go-karting race course.
