Gîte Verre

Set amongst the rolling Charente countryside, only five minutes from the market town of Aigre, this gite is nestled amongst the sunflowers and vines. For our environment, we have environmentally friendly gestures in place to reduce plastics and single use materials as well as to recycle and to compost.
With plenty to do locally for adults and children alike, this is an ideal location with Cognac and Angouleme approximately 30 mins by car. Our nearest Plan d'Eau is a short car ride of 10 minutes at Les Gours. In MONS, we have Cognac and Pineau producing neighbours with tasting sessions, a BIO vegetable shop, a Botanic Walk, a Snail Farm and shop and a riding stables.
Well-equipped and charming, this spacious gite has been renovated in the traditional Charentais style with exposed stone walls and oak beams. The modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine and enough cutlery and crockery for six people. The open-plan living space has a dining table for six and a lounge area with Free Sat television and DVD player. Outside, you can relax in your own private courtyard with stone barbecue and seating area, or play table-tennis and babyfoot in the open games barn. Relax by our 12 by 6 metre heated pool in its own courtyard.
We are family-friendly and have a range of equipment for children such as high chairs, stair gates, sterilizers, potties and a push-chair etc - just let us know in advance what you might need and we'll do our best for you. We also provide toys and games for children, should you wish. We have a games field too.
