In the rural village of La Péruse, in the charming Charente, you will find the beautiful Gîte Theo d'Or. Completely insulated and built with ecological material such as hemp and lime. A mix of authenticity and comfort. The Gîte has its own small private garden and private parking, plus there is a large swimming pool in the communal garden of our adjoining chambres d'hôtes with a beautiful view of the valley. If desired, you can also join our Table d'hôtes.

    Geweldige gites op een prachtige locatie. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving als tennissen, wandelen, fietsen, kajakken en plaatjes bezoeken. De eigenaren Petra en Rik zijn ontzettende gastvrije leuke mensen. Wij hebben genoten!

Activities

In the Charente it is mainly enjoyed the many different landscapes and the often unspoilt nature that is characterized by many lakes and rivers with nature clear water. With 2300 solar hours a year, it is also a wonderful place to stay in the early and late season. Every season has its charm here.
Around la Péruse are several lakes such as Lacs-de-Haute-Charente, where all kinds of water activities can be found.
In the immediate vicinity are picturesque old villages and every day there is a market somewhere nearby.
The cities of Angoulème (known for the cartoons) and Limoges (porcelein) are a good half hour drive from la Péruse.
Activities such as hiking, golfing, canoeing, fishing and cycling can be practiced in this area.
