The house
Chez Morand comprises two recently renovated farm buildings, both with large open-plan kitchens and lounges, with all amenities.
La Grange has 2 double bedrooms, one with ensuite bath/shower room, three further bedrooms with 2 single beds and a family bathroom with shower.
La Maison Bleu has 2 double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, two further bedrooms with 2 single beds and 3 single beds and a family bathroom with bath and shower.
Both houses have large flat-screen TVs with access to Netflix etc and fast wifi.
Both houses have large covered outdoor patios with table/chairs and BBQ. The oudoor table at La Maison Bleu can seat all 19 guests if required.
The property has exclusive us of the large large swimming pool, petanque courts and ping pong table.

The property is nestled beside a copse of woodland and is completely surrounded by fields, vineyards and woodland. Our Domaine is ideal for coussinades, birthday parties and all private functions. Its unique and isolated location means that when your celebration gets in to full swing you can let your hair down without worrying about disturbing any neighbours.

Très bon séjour pour notre groupe de 18 personnes. Le gite est bien équipé, la piscine est grande et très bien entretenue, et notre hote s'est montré très disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Le gite est isolé dans un cadre sympa, ce qui permet de ne pas générer (ou subir) de nuisances sonores.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are a wide selection of restaurants in the local village and surrounding towns. Wine-tasting can be arranged locally or further afield in Cognac and St Emilion. The nearest bar is within 5km and serves home-brewed beers.
Activities
Chez Morand is set in a peaceful rural location, offering amazing views over the surrounding countryside. The local town of Montmoreau is a 5km drive, providing supermarket, pharmacy, tabac and restaurants. There are also a wide selection of restaurants in the surrounding area.
For shopping further afield the towns of Angouleme, Bordeaux and Perigeux are an easy drive.
There are local venues for wine-tasting or the towns of St Emilion and Cognac make a great day-trip.
Canoes can be hired in Brantome and Aubeterre. These are also very beautiful towns to visit.
As well as the large onsite pool you can swim at the river beach in Aubeterre or the lake at Brossac - both around 20 mins drive.
Onsite there is a full size ping-pong table and there are 2 petanque courts beside the pool.
The historic towns of Sarlat and Oradour-sur -Glane are reccommended for day-trips.
Bookings can be made for the local riding stables, archery in a nearby village and the tree-climbing centre at Poltrot (you can also organize to be dropped here for a longer canoe trip to Aubeterre).
