Lemonie Gites are based around a traditional 18th century farmhouse standing in a tranquil corner of the Charente, bordering the Dordogne, with views over the surrounding countryside. Set in a large plot of mature gardens, we are a few minutes away from many local attractions such as the river beach at St Aulaye and the charming village of Aubeterre, one of France’s ‘Beaux Villages’.
Within an hour's drive are the historic towns of Angouleme, Perigueux and Bergerac. Bordeaux with its atmospheric centre and stunning waterfront is just over an hour away.
The original farmhouse and one of the barns have been converted into two holiday cottages (or ‘gites’), retaining original features such as the fireplaces with log burners, and traditional stone walls, combining them with modern facilities to enhance your stay.
