The house
Recent (6 units) quietly located lodgings in Normandy (each 68m²) with their own fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge with flat screen and DVD, dining area, bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 spacious separate bedrooms, one with 2 single beds that can be joined together and one with a double bed. All lodgings have spacious terraces or balconies, with garden furniture and sun loungers.
All lodgings have views of the garden and swimming pool (5 x 10 m, heated from May to end September); children's playground in the garden, bbq.
On the attic floor there is an honesty bar (drinks are available or you can bring your own) with billiards, darts, board games, a bar with fridge and a TV (for sports games, for example), a family/party/dinner room for about 20 people, and a multi-mode cinema (beamer/DVD/computer/video projection possible). So you don't have to walk far for entertainment. If the calendar gives full, then effectively all 6 lodges are let, otherwise at least one remains available.
Pets welcome but to be consulted, depending on season.

Zeer prettig verblijf in Le Relais du Hibou. Warme dagen gehad, het zwembad dichtbij was erg welkom! In het ruime appartement bleef het koel, en de inrichting was comfortabel. Patrick en Anne zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Appartement keurig in orde. Eigenaar zeer behulpzaam en prettig in de omgang! Precies wat je nodig hebt op vakantie. Kinderen vonden het ook super!
Restaurants, food & wine
Reasonable prices in almost all the restaurants, fish and shellfish sales direct from the boat on the quay, country of Camembert, Livarot, Coeur de Bray, Cider, oysters, squid and lobster... Tasty local dishes with fresh farm butter, apples, cider and calvados. Many short-chain shops, with fresh products directly from the grower.
Activities
France's newest golf course at 4 km (Golf du Côte d'Albâtre), recreational domain Lac de Caniel at 2 km, Aerodrome de Saint Valery en Caux at 5 km, fishing pleasure in small river Durdent (downstream of our domain). Animal parks, castles, amusement park, landscape gardens, harbours, canoeing, kite surfing, Atlantic wall, ivory museum, cider and calvados makers, goat farms, etc. Sailing schools, surfing, paddle, slow or fast boat trips, craft mornings on the beach...
Too many to mention, but then you are in the cradle of Europe, with names like Guillaume le Conquerant (William the Conqueror - battle of Hastings), Richard Lionheart, Jeanne d'Arc, Bénédictine abbey, whaling, fortified castles and fortresses, iconic Etretat, wooden city Rouen, picturesque Honfleur, bustling Le Havre, fortifications of Vauban, etc. Without forgetting all the feel-good dishes with cream, butter, apples, and of course what the sea provides, and this, given the fairly mass-tourism-free zone, at very democratic prices.
