The house
La Chasse is a charming 3-bedroom gîte in the Normandy countryside, 10 minutes from Veules-les-Roses (one of the most beautiful villages in France). The gîte has a 3* rating and is perfect for walkers, cyclists, golfers or a relaxing weekend with friends or family.
The house was originally a hunting lodge and combines old-world charm with modern comforts. It has wooden beams and has been tastefully decorated, giving it a homely feel. The house has 4000 m² of land overlooking the fields. The garden is not fenced, so dog owners should take this into account. The house is in a rural village, with the Normandy coast just a 10-minute drive away.
Inside, the open-plan living room features a fireplace, TV with chromecast and dining space for 6.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher. Upstairs, there are 3 spacious bedrooms (2 king-size, 1 twin) with hotel-quality beds and bedding and a recently renovated bathroom with an Italian shower.
The garden has a paved terrace, a barbecue and a children's playhouse. The house has gas central heating and Wi-Fi is available throughout. The property has been recently renovated and has double-glazed windows.
Pets are welcome at a surcharge of €20 and there is ample parking.

The house is in a quiet street overlooking meadows and a 10-minute drive from the beautiful Alabaster coast.
500m from the house in Sainte Colombe is a bakery where you can also buy small items such as a packet of coffee, water, soft drinks, etc. (closed on Wednesdays)
In nearby Doudeville you will find a Carrefour and some smaller shops and restaurant, there is also a weekly market on Saturday.
On the coast, you can indulge in the beautiful Veules-les-Roses, the slightly larger Saint-Valery-en-Caux or one of the many other villages.
A little further away you will find the towns of Dieppe and Fecamp, both definitely worth a visit.

Nearby villages such as Doudeville, Veules-les-Roses (on the coast) and Saint-Valery-en-Caux (on the coast) offer many nice restaurants
where you can eat very well for a decent price.

Since the house is located in an area where cider is produced, a visit to a local "cidrerie" is definitely worthwhile.
