Le Coquelicot

Le Coquelicot is one of two gites, each sleeping six, in the barn adjacent to our home at La Maison Sans Soucis. Le Coquelicot boasts an open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area on the ground floor. There are two comfortable sofas, a TV with English and French channels, as well as a plentiful supply of dvds, books, and games to keep you entertained on those chillier evenings. An attractive wood burner effect gas heater adds to the ambiance. The dining table seats six and you will find a sufficient supply of crockery and cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen area. This area is furnished with a gas cooker, fridge with small ice box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, tassimo coffee machine and toaster. A supply of dishwasher tablets, washing powder, washing-up liquid and other kitchen necessaries is provided, although you will need to top-up during your stay. The three bedrooms are located on the first floor togething with a good-sized shower room. Each bedroom has ample storage space for clothes, and an electric radiator.
At the rear of the gites is a large shared garden with a swing for younger children and a good-sized above-ground swimming pool. The pool is available from June through to September and is shared with our other gite, Le Bleuet. Each gite has its own patio area screened from the other, with garden furniture and a barbecue.
At the front of the property is further seating and a large grassy area with seating areas.
In the same barn as the gites is a games room, with table tennis, darts and a range of outdoor games.
Parking is at the front of the gites and there is sufficient space for three cars in total (parking is shared by both gites)
