The house
Style and substance... Or the skillfully orchestrated metamorphosis of the chapel of the manor house Les Rochers into a henhouse and finally into a superb loft! Les Rochers is a magnificent farmhouse, four centuries old, surrounded by fields and artfully renovated into a sumptuous guest house and cottage. In the cottage, art deco furniture happily intermingles with wrought-iron pieces designed by the owner and custom made by a local craftsman. Two large windows let in plenty of light. The old built-in nesting boxes are a charming nod to the structure's past that now provide shelf space for memorabilia .
The refined, pared-down style highlights large, colorful paintings.

Les Rochers is a 16th-century manor nestled in a bucolic setting. The fields surrounding this old farmhouse invite you for a stroll, or to spend a peaceful moment under a tree contemplating nature. A nearby footpath takes you on an easy hike around the village. The village, at 2 km distance from the cottage, offers shops covering your primary needs. Several markets in the area offer whatever you like. Les Rochers is the ideal starting point to discover Normandy, from Honfleur to Cherbourg to the Mont Saint Michel. The beaches are just half an hour away. It will be a pleasure for us to give you tips and documentation for your stay in Normandy.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Les Rochers. De unieke cottage is zeer stijlvol en comfortabel ingericht, met veel kunst, en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt op vakantie. De cottage maakt deel uit van een boerderij, waarin meerdere kamers met bed en breakfast zijn gesitueerd. Daarnaast is er nog een prachtige ruimte waar ontbijt wordt gebruikt en een aantal keer per week een diner wordt geserveerd. Alle gebouwen zijn mooi gerestaureerd.
Les Rochers ligt een half uur van de kust. Het is hier heerlijk rustig, omgeven door bossen en velden en mooie kleine plaatsjes. Normandie heeft veel te bieden, er is veel te bezoeken en te ontdellen en aan het einde van de dag kom je dan terug op deze rustige plek. Susanne is een prima gastvrouw. Unieke locatie op een middeleeuwse boerderij! Mag met recht zeer rustig gelegen genoemd worden, zover je kunt kijken geen andere bebouwing. Cottage is heel apart, goed ingericht en prima geschikt voor 2 personen. De familie Falk is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam met alle vragen, ook over de omgeving. We hebben een prima vakantie gehad met afwisselend bezoeken aan de invasie stranden en wandelingen in de natuur.

As we propose BnB as well you have the opportunity to have little breakfast or a beautiful seafood platter on Friday evenings (on reservation).
