Le Courtil is in the immediate vicinity of the village of Cerisy-la-Forêt. You will find all the shops you need for your stay: bakery, butcher's shop, grocery shop, bar-tobacco shop, pub, restaurant, pharmacy. Numerous footpaths will allow you to discover the Normandy bocage and the nearby Cerisy forest. A must-see in our village is the 11th century Abbey, a marvel of Norman medieval architecture, with its pond and sculpture park.
Our village is in the heart of the best Normandy has to offer: the D-Day beaches and its museums, the Mont-Saint-Michel, the Cotentin or the Bayeux Tapestry are less than an hour's drive from Le Courtil. Ideal to discover our beautiful region!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad! Een fijne centrale plek om Normandië te ontdekken.
Het huisje is zeer compleet en in nette staat. De keuken is goed uitgerust, alleen een laag aanrechtblad.
Een goede bakker zit er in dit dorp en een onwijs leuke pub (heel vriendelijke mensen)!Remco et Mirjam from Drunen,
Met veel plezier een week in dit huis gezeten. Voorzien van alle gemakken, een heel goed bed, zeer compleet ingerichte keuken en grote mooie achtertuin. Een baķker en kleine supermarkt op loopafstand. Een zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaar. We raden het iedereen aan.
