The house
The entrance to La Maringote opens onto a lounge with a television with satellite channels and Netflix. This is followed by the dining area, which overlooks the terrace and landscaped garden. To prepare your meals, Maringote has a spacious and practical fully-equipped kitchen.
Upstairs, the exposed stone hallway leads to the gîte's three bedrooms, each with a view over the garden. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a wardrobe. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Finally, the last bedroom has two single beds (90x200cm). The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
Outside, a bay window gives access to a spacious terrace and sheltered dining area.
The whole house is equipped with an efficient wifi network.

La Maringote is right next to the village of Cerisy-la-Forêt. Here you'll find all the shops you need for your stay: bakery, butchers, grocery shop, bar-tobacco shop, pub, restaurant and pharmacy. Numerous footpaths allow you to discover the Normandy bocage and the nearby Cerisy forest. A must-see in our village is the 11th-century Abbey, a marvel of Norman medieval architecture, with its pond and sculpture park.
Our village is at the heart of the best Normandy has to offer: the D-Day beaches and their museums, Mont-Saint-Michel, the Cotentin region and the Bayeux Tapestry are all less than an hour's drive from La Maringote. Ideal for discovering our beautiful region!

Cerisy la Forêt offers a wide range of activities for sports enthusiasts. A number of hiking trails will allow you to discover the beauty of the Normandy bocage. If you wish, you can also explore the nearby national forest on foot or by mountain bike.
The commune also has a tennis court and a multi-sports ground (handball, football, basketball).
Fishing enthusiasts can also indulge their passion around the pond at the foot of the Abbey.
