The house
Close to the centre of Carentan, our wood-frame eco-cottage with its wood-fibre insulation, solar hot water and wood-burning stove provides excellent thermal comfort in all seasons.
This spacious, detached house sleeps 5 to 7 people. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen/dining room, a large living room and, since October 2022, a veranda leading onto the south-facing terrace and garden.
The lounge has two convertible sofas and a sliding partition to create a real sleeping area. A separate toilet and shower room are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The wood-burning stove, located in the centre of the ground floor, will provide you with its gentle warmth.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 3 single beds, a shower room with WC and a seating area on the landing.
The south-facing facade opens onto a 40 m2 terrace with a veranda and a private enclosed garden, equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue.
To the north of the accommodation, three deactivated concrete parking spaces are available, including two under the car port near the charging point for electric cars.

The town of Carentan is located in the regional nature park of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, with protected bird-watching areas.
At Utah Beach, which is 18 kilometres from the town of Sainte Marie du Mont, you can go sailing, sand yachting and long-distance sailing.
