The house
We have renovated this former watermill from the 19th century. Until a few years ago, it was a fish farm. This old building has lived well, it has its soul. We have fitted out a welcoming and luminous duplex gîte, classified 3 stars. The large wooded and flowery park is surrounded by a small river: the Morelle. It lends itself to rest and play for the children. We are very proud of our fruit trees and our permaculture vegetable garden. You are in the Pays d'Auge, 12 km from Honfleur, a beautiful countryside of the Normandy bocage: the country of thatched cottages, cows, race horses, apple trees...
The local gastronomy is renowned: cheeses (Camembert, Pont-l-Evêque, Neufchatel,..). Coquilles St Jacques, local fish, seafood, grey shrimps from Honfleur. Cider and calva...
It is also a region with a rich cultural and historical past and there is no shortage of visits.
You are close to the beaches of the Côte Fleurie, near Honfleur, Trouville and Deauville. The sea is really not far away

Een heerlijke, rustige en mooie locatie.
Huis met karakter, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in huis en dan niet te vergeten de geweldige zeer grote tuin.
De ligging is zeer nabij het centrum van Beuzeville waar alles is wat je nodig hebt tijdens je verblijf (Restaurants, slagers, viswinkel ,delicatessen winkels en een supermarkt) aanwezig is.
De eigenaren zijn fantastische zeer lieve mensen die je overal meet helpen met vragen over de omgeving etc etc.Anja Nolten from BERLICUM NB,
Als ik een 11 als punt kon geven dan gaf ik dat. Wat een fijne tijd hebben we hier gehad; ruim en licht appartement, gelegen midden in de natuur. In de omgeving is veel te zien en te beleven. De eigenaren van het appartement zijn super; we werden overladen met fruit en groente uit de prachtige tuin.

Activities
From the mill, many walks are possible. The region is touristy, very close to Honfleur, you are 2km from the small town of Beuzeville, which has a lot of shops. Go to Deauville, Cabourg and the whole flowery coast for the beaches. About half an hour away you can visit Le Havre, Rouen, Caen, Lisieux and many other small towns. We will be happy to help you according to your interests. There is a fishing pond not far away, horse riding clubs and swimming pools. You can easily go to Etretat, see the Bayeux tapestry and the landing beaches. Discover the abbeys of Normandy and the Seine valley, not to mention the many restaurants and markets. Afterwards, a rest in the garden by the river is a must.
