The house
This friendly, comfortable holiday home is located on the south side of pottery La Prairie. It is a renovated former bakery, where in former times bread was baked in a wood oven.
You have an unobstructed view of the meadow, only the cows of farmer Patrick come now and then to curiously chat.
There is no television, but there is a fast WiFi connection, so you can easily watch your favourite TV programmes on your laptop via uitzending gemist or films on Netflix. Furthermore, you imagine yourself in a place where time seems to have stood still and this beautiful peaceful environment is the perfect place for a walking, cycling and/or relaxing holiday.
On the ground floor is a fully equipped, spacious living kitchen with an induction hob (4 rings) and an oven.
For the winter months or the colder evenings in spring or autumn, there is a wood-burning stove that keeps the room well warm. There is plenty of wood available!
On the first floor is the bedroom with a large (180x 200), comfortable double bed. Here is also the bathroom with shower and toilet and a separate sink.
There is also a mezzanine of 2x5 metres where, if necessary, a sleeping place can be made for 1 person/child. High chair and camping bed are available.

Perrusse is a small quiet village with 35 inhabitants. The holiday house is located at the edge of the village, next to the pottery, but completely free with a private piece of garden facing south, of about 80 m4. The only neighbours are farmer Patrick's cows. The nearest bakery and supermarket are at 12 km from the village.
From the village it is well possible to make walks and bike tours. For official walks one has to drive some km's, but from the house one can already make beautiful walks.

Heerlijk huisje op een mooie plek en goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. VAn wandelen aan le Meuse tot een bezoek aan Dijon. Vergeet ook chaumont niet en de historische plekken in de omgeving. Fijne lieve mensen en lekker de houtkachel aan.

Van 20 05 tot 3 06 waren wij in deze gite in Perrusse..Een fijn huisje waar je geniet van de stilte en de vogelzang.Veel gefietst in de omgeving.Ook een heel prettige gastvrouw en gastheer.We hebben ervan genoten.
Restaurants, food & wine
Here you are in the Champagne Ardenne, the name says it all. There are several tastings to visit, also of wine. Perrusse is situated exactly between Dijon and Nancy. Some smaller cities that are also worth visiting are Chaumont, Langres, Vittel and Neufchateau.
Activities
In the vicinity of 15 to 25 km, there are a number of lakes for swimming. There are marked walking and cycling paths and it is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday.
There are several regional museums, such as a basket maker and the knife museum (this region is known for its iron mining and related metal processing factories) and of course the pottery!
More information about the Haute Marne, the most southern district of the Champagne Ardenne, can be found at the site of the Tourist Office in Langres. Here you can also find free printable walking and cycling routes.

Additional price info and offers
Prices are inclusive, including wood for colder days. Only for a sheet pack and towels we charge €25 and for cleaning we charge an extra €50 if you want to leave that to us.
The house is a double house. There is a single bed on the mezzanine for an extra guest. We charge € 10,- per day with a maximum of € 50,- per week.
On arrival you pay € 100,- deposit which you get back at the end of your holiday.
For dogs we ask a contribution of € 25,-. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed.
Wifi is free and for the use of the washing machine we ask a fee of € 5 per wash.
