The house

  • Quiet, rural area with some traffic

Originally this was an old Alsatian house in Folgensbourg, near the town of Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin in Alsace. It belonged to the Saint Roch society and it was sold to mr and mrs Sontag who wanted to turn it into a gite... in Raedersdorf, a pretty Alsatian village just south of Sundgau. The plan was to move the house. And this is how the house was dismantled, beam by beam, transported and rebuilt in the centre of the terraced garden of the family in Raedersdorf, where it stands between the kitchen garden and the flower garden. This is how the small house became gite La Pomme de Pin.
Inside you will find a equipped kitchen, a living room with dining area, sofa, TN- tv and audio set. There is a covered terrace and a garden with garden furniture, barbecue and private parking space.
There is electrical heating for your comfort, but also a wood burning stove in the living room. You can always find fire wood next to the house.
On the ground floor you will also find a bathroom and separate WC.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. You will also find a WC on this floor.
In the basement there is a third bedroom with two singles and a second bathroom with washing machine and WC.
A baby cot, high chair and small folding bed are available for the little ones.
