The house
A quirky, unusual setting for a holiday, ideal for families and friends alike. This converted double decker bus came all the way from Warrington, England and is now situated in the heart of rural France. Whether you're a bus fanatic or are just looking for something a little bit different, The Big Yellow Bus is for you. Upstairs sleeps up to six people, with one double bedroom, one twin room, and one room with a set of bunk beds. The lower floor has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave/oven/hob, fridge/freezer, kettle/coffee machine, and sink area. There is a plumbed-in shower room and toilet. At the back of the bus, there is a dining area for up to eight people, making use fo the original seating, and along with more comfortable seating for lounging. The bus comes with a log burner for the winter and an air conditioning unit for the warmer months.
The bus is situated in a field and has off-road private parking. On the terrace, there are picnic benches, a barbecue, and a hot tub. Pets welcome but please be wary - the field is not entirely enclosed, and the log burner presents some risk.

Nature and Activity:
We're surrounded by beautiful lakes and areas of natural beauty. The area is great for fishing, cycling, and/or walking holidays, or for simply taking in the calm, quiet splendor.
History:
This area is steeped in history and is filled with historic monuments. See castles and chateaus - both standing and in ruins, visit unique and unusual museums, and learn about a history that is both agricultural and spiritual in nature.
Art and Literature:
Just pop over the department border into La Creuse, and you'll be thrown in the world of art and literature. Fresselines, just a ten-minute drive away, is famous for being the centre of the Vallée des Peintres, after hosting and inspiring impressionist painter Monet. A few miles in the other direction will get you to La Chatre, where you can explore the house of author George Sand.
Big Cities:
Though we're situated in the middle of nature, there are cities within driving distance. Visit the historic city of Chateauroux, the capital of Indre and only 40 minutes' drive. Alternatively, there's Gueret, where you can visit a wolf sanctuary or lose yourself in a maze. Venture a little further out, and you'll find the medieval city of Bourges or the pottery capital that is Limoges.
