The house
Relax with the luxury of home. Attached to your gite is a large garden of approx. 800m2, where your outdoor life will take place. You overlook the countryside and have access to a surface pool with sun terrace. A beautiful deck is attached to the gite, where you can relax. There is also a small spa in this garden, with jacuzzi and infra-red cabin, at an extra charge. PLEASE NOTE: Our cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, but ideally 2 or 3. The 2nd bedroom is small and contains a single bed and a good quality folding bed. For use for two adults this is not ideal given the sloping walls. However, it is not impossible. From May 2025, you may be sharing the pool with camper guests, who are on the other side of the gite complex. Next to Gite Fleur is also Gite Rembrandt. We never rent these gites at the same time, to guarantee your peace and privacy. Please also take a look at the other gite, as you have a choice of two.

Relax and enjoy the peace and nature of the countryside. A 6000m2 plot with several buildings in central France, located in the Brenne Natural Park. One of the barns was converted into a stylish and luxuriously furnished gîte. On the owners' property, but privacy on the garden side. All around views of the countryside. The real peasant country life. Enjoy a glass of wine during the beautiful sunset and warm yourself by the campfire.

Ik kan niet anders dan een 10 geven. Een paradijsje op aarde. De gite is prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien, maar door het mooie weer hebben we vooral kunnen genieten van de enorme tuin met prachtig uitzicht, een zwembad en jacuzzi (ook nog een sauna maar daar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt).
De eigenaren zijn topmensen die op gepaste afstand zichtbaar zijn en ons hebben voorzien van superleuke tips voor in de omgeving. Kortom een echte aanrader!
Restaurants, food & wine
Our place is located on the border of Indre and Vienne in the village of Lignac. Lignac is a small village with around 450 inhabitants. It has a beautiful location in central France with lots of green and untouched nature. With the larger cities of Poitiers, Chateauroux and Limoges at a distance, there is always something to do.
The Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne covers a large part of the département l'Indre. This vast natural area with its many fishing ponds is home to several attractions. There are many recreational lakes, also a short distance from our place. In summer, there is plenty to do here. Within the La Brenne Regional Nature Park is another nature reserve. Réserve naturelle nationale de Chérine in Saint-Michel-en-Brenne is a true bird paradise. Go with a guide and discover the many birds in this pristine piece of nature. Twice a year, the crane migration passes here. Wonderful to follow. With much noise and large numbers, the cranes fly over and often rest in the Brenne on their way south.
Activities
Creative workshops on location. These include stained glass, painting on wood, jewellery making. Various items are available for outdoor sports. Furthermore, in a reasonable distance, there is a recreational lake where there are many activities in summer. Among other things, you can supp, kayak, pedal boat, swim, fish, have fun on the water toys or do outdoor fitness here. In the immediate vicinity of the gite, there are many hiking and cycling opportunities. We will be happy to tell you about them.
