The house
In the cottage, many old details have been preserved, original materials have been reused as much as possible, which creates an authentic atmosphere.
The gîte has a spacious living room with dining table, sitting area with television and a modern kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, induction cooker (3 rings) and dishwasher. There is sufficient glass, crockery and cutlery.
The entire gîte has underfloor heating. The gîte has 1 bathroom with toilet and shower and 1 separate toilet.
Cots/high chairs can be placed free of charge on request. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are included in the total price, as well as the final cleaning. As well as the tourist tax.
It is possible to connect the cottage 'La Remise' with the neighbouring cottage 'La Ronde', when you wish to come with a larger group (max. 12 persons).
The cottage has a spacious outdoor area with table, chairs and umbrella. There is also a private BBQ available for the gite.

This gîte is part of the French municipality of Céré-la-Ronde. It is located just south of the river Cher in the 37 Indre-et-Loire département. In a larger context, it lies in the centre of the triangle Tours, Blois and Loches. This region is known for its rich history, its many castles and picturesque villages and towns.
The castles of Amboise, Cheverny, Chaumont and Chenonceau are all within 50 km of the estate. The small but characteristic castle of Montpoupon is also located 3 km away. Besides the different castles there are also many nice villages and cities to visit such as; Loches, Montrésor, Montrichard, Amboise, Tours and Blois.
At 15 km distance there is one of the biggest and most beautiful zoos of France; Zooparc Beauval. Highly recommended for young and old!

De gite ligt op het prachtige terrein van het chateau. De gite is mooi ingericht, met leuke vintage spullen, heerlijke bedden en verder van alle gemakken voorzien.
De gite ligt op een heerlijk rustige plek, zodat je de vele vogeltjes goed kunt horen. Het terrein is mooi groen met veel bomen en planten.
Er is genoeg te doen met de jeu de boules baan, de tafeltennistafel, het zwembad en de trampoline. Ook de Wifi is super!
Op een klein kwartier van het terrein is een grote supermarkt te vinden. Verder is er in de omgeving veel te doen; we hebben de dierentuin bezocht, het klimpark en een vijftal kastelen.
Ellen, de eigenaresse, is super gastvrij. Je kunt haar altijd alles vragen.
Kortom: we hebben genoten! We willen het niet aan iedereen aanraden, omdat we graag zelf nog een zomervakantie terug willen kunnen komen!Jeroen from Tilburg,
Fijne ruime gite van alle gemakken voorzien. Op een prachtig landgoed met een heerlijk zwembad. Veel te doen en te bekijken in de wijde omgeving. Kastelen bezoeken, kayakken, adventure park, zwemmen in rivieren en meren en grotten (met heerlijke wijn).

De gite is prachtig, het zwembad prima en netjes. De kinderen hebben genoten van de tafeltennis tafel, de kippen en de honden. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ala uitjes zijn we naar de dierentuin Beauval geweest en een klimpark bezocht. Verder was het vooral rust op het landgoed. Heerlijk!
Restaurants, food & wine
France Centre is known for its diversity of wines. The Vouvray and Touraine wines are the best known. In the vicinity there are many wineries to visit where the regional wines can be tasted.
In Bourré, at 15 km distance, there are marl quarries that are partly used for the wines of Montmousseau and partly for the cultivation of different kinds of edible mushrooms. These quarries can be visited daily.
In the vicinity, there is something for everyone, from simple to star level restaurants.
