Welcome to Clos Allegria!

Just a stone's throw from the historic centre of Amboise, close to the station and in a quiet area, our "Clos Allegria" house (146 m2 on 2 levels and 2000 m2 of garden) is ideal for a family holiday or a get-together with friends. Its location will enable you to visit the Châteaux of the Loire (15 minutes' walk from Amboise castle, 15km from Chenonceau and 45 min from Beauval zoo).

Bright, spacious ground floor

As soon as you arrive, you'll be seduced by the brightness of the south-facing ground floor with its 4 windows.

An entrance hall gives access to a tastefully decorated 50m2 room.

You can enjoy our lounge area, which includes a large, comfortable sofa, two redesigned Louis XIII-style armchairs, small coffee tables and a small flat-screen TV. For the enjoyment of young and old alike, a table football table is available. It's a place where you can spend quality time with family and friends.

As soon as you arrive, you'll be charmed by the brightness of the ground floor, bathed in light thanks to its 4 large south-facing windows. Take advantage of our spacious 50 m² living room, decorated with care and offering :

The "night" area on the 1st floor

The sleeping area is accessed by a modern wood and wrought iron staircase.

The first bedroom offers a view of the Château d'Amboise. Bathed in light, you'll be able to enjoy the mildness of the Touraine countryside. It has a double bed (140cm×190cm) and a desk. Ideal for working on your files.

The second bedroom has a double bed (160cm×200cm) and a large wardrobe. Perfect for putting your suitcases down!

The third bedroom is perfect for your little ones! With its 3 single beds (90cm×200cm), one of which has a bunk bed, your children will be delighted with their 'pyjama nights'! An umbrella bed is also available.

Bathrooms and toilets

On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with shower, vanity unit and toilet.

An ultra-modern bathroom completes the first floor. It includes a bath/shower, a large vanity unit with mirror and a heated towel rail.

All linen and towels are provided and beds are made on arrival. You will have a large bath towel (150 x 100) per person, a bath mat for each bathroom and a tea towel for the kitchen.

You will also have a shower kit for the 1st night only (1 small bottle of shower gel and 1 small bottle of shampoo) as well as a roll of toilet paper.

The terrace and garden

From the first days of spring, you'll be able to make the most of our large, south-facing 2000m2 garden, with its outdoor footstools, garden furniture, parasol and outdoor dining area.

Our house is located in a residential area, so absolute peace and quiet are guaranteed!

The little extra: an electric recharging point is available at an extra cost.

You'll be a 5-minute walk from the train station and just a few minutes from Amboise town centre.

During your stay in Amboise, you can go to the market every Friday and Sunday morning (the largest in the region), visit the Château Royal, the Clos Lucé (Leonardo da Vinci's former home), stroll around the Place du Château, the pedestrianised streets and their shops, enjoy the emblematic Pâtisserie Chocolaterie Bigot (an Amboise institution) and take a walk along the banks of the Loire (a UNESCO World Heritage site), go to the swimming pool (open in July and August)... All within easy reach.

The towns of Tours and Blois are 35 minutes away by car, and the famous Beauval Zoo is 45 minutes away. You can also visit other Loire châteaux nearby (Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont...), fly over the region in a hot-air balloon or canoe down the Loire in a kayak! A real holiday home to rent!

Amboise station is a 5-minute walk away, and the A10 motorway exit is 15 km away, with bus routes also within walking distance.
